I'm having trouble booking the last night My Time Dining as well for my May 2022 Oasis sailing
-
I heard you can see the aqua theater from one of the balcony rooms- does anyone know where this would be?
What is the best bang for your buck on the ship. I was thinking if not a balcony, then maybe central park interior would be a nice option. I'm planning on going next May

Where would I still be able to get/request the bob marley? I'll be on adventure
-
Might be a silly question, but if I booked an excursion to Universal through the cruise line from 12:30 to 8:30pm, does that mean we leave Universal at 8:30pm or is that when we return to the ship?
TIA

Jumping on this: my boyfriend and I both have the drink package. Would one of us be able to go to the bar with both cards and get two drinks? Or would we both have to be present?

Hotel, rental car.....excursions....new much more expensive flights, new more expensive hotels...everything new on short notice - with high prices due to easter holidays and now very late booking!😥
The total price of the new vacation is about double - what this cruise vacation had cost!😱
But we could no waste that vacation time - because of the incident..YOLO!
Hotel I understand completely. I have only cruised out of a port by me so I never think about that as a cost, although it is one for many. Excursions should have been refunded as RCCL said and I thought you do not pay for a rental car until you pick it up, but I could be mistaken or some companies are just different!
Of course, I would also be unhappy with the circumstances, I'm just unfortunately not sure what else RCCL could have done. I love the YOLO mindset though!! Make your vacation count!!

We are loosing thousands because they were negligeant!👎
The FCC does not cover much of it....there is more than the flights....
They are lucky we did not book in the EU🙄 else they would have to pay every penny they cost us....
What else was not covered?

Travel insurance will not work in this situation and most people are stuck with expensive non-refundable flights!
Giving $400 for the flights is a bad joke!👎🖕
They might be giving "only" that much back in flights, but they're also refunding the ENTIRE amount paid for the cruise along with giving future cruise credit in the same amount. This is essentially getting a free cruise because you're getting your money back as well. I wouldn't be that upset about losing a few hundred on a flight when I'd be getting thousands back in cruise credit

Thank you for all your replies. I hate to have to limit what I can do in life because of a fear. My biggest fear is feeling trapped so knowing what to expect really helps, especially knowing that I can leave if I need to.
Also, I'm sure you can tell the crew member who gives you the escape room backstory that you have claustrophobia ahead of time so they can be on the look out for you. They are all there to make sure you're having fun!!!

Hopefully, the OP was not trying to steal the second drink.
Pretty sure OP meant "get" and not "buy". If they have the drink package, the question was whether or not they could get two drinks at the same time and one drink is given to someone who does not have a package

I am officially signed for the class! Still debating whether or not to keep the restaurant reservations, but there is no harm keeping them until we decide

I was recommending this on another thread. I did it in October on Allure and it was so much fun and the sushi was delicious. I would like to add that they allowed people, like parents, who were not part of the class to sit in the dining room and watch.
Is it always at 10am? I see the class but that seems to be the only time available. Would I be able to switch the time on board?

Cabin availability and Royal Up offers don't depend on each other.
But they do...if they don't have the cabin available to upgrade to, they cannot offer the upgrade

I know on the menu it lists prices for half rolls and for full rolls. Does anyone know how many pieces come in each size?

On my cruise it is $49 pp.
I got an email saying 50% off second person but it still comes up to $49 pp.
The $49 is the price with the discount. Without the discount is is closer to $70. They ALWAYS show you the discounted price instead of the regular
-
I would say paired with itinerary and ship choices, this would be a great time to try out Royal. The itinerary seems great, you have a great snorkeling option, and freedom class has some great ships. Really hard to go wrong there

I've read about people getting offers with new higher prices but has anyone gotten a second offer with LOWER prices?
Someone quoted me above and said it’s possible, but this is what I am hoping for
-
Has anyone ever gotten an offer then had another offer come that was better?
wondering if it’s possible they’ll give another royalup offer for a little less

Some of us prefer those “dumpy old ships”. You can read that in MY best ***** voice

Just received my accepted royal upgrade for tomorrow’s sailing on Anthem of the seas. Went from inside stateroom to ocean view balcony. I bidded the minimum bid of $150 pp. Total cost $300.
That's a great deal! I wish I had that offer. We have a promenade stateroom and it would cost $200pp to go to a balcony

Maybe they were grumpy because they did what they were supposed to do and selected their times they wanted to eat, showed up at the dining room when they were supposed to do and then had to wait because there were no tables available because of people just showing up when they felt like it. Last time on the Anthem (7th one) the line for no reservations was as big as the reservation one
MTD has suggested reservations but not required. I would not say "supposed to do" as you have the option to not do it. Reservations are recommended and they should be seating those reservations before the walk-ins. I would be surprised if all of those walk-ins got seated before the reservations

On my cruise planner I can book MTD as early as 5:00 and as late as 9:30.
However there is a 5:15 and then it jumps to 7:00. I don’t know if all of the times in between are taken. Or maybe they they are forcing people to come early so they have time to clean and reset the tables for the 7:00 and later. Because if there was a 6:30 reservation they would have to keep that table open until then. This was they can accommodate walk ins early and still get them out for the later seating.
I also think 5:15 is way too early for me and I disliked our 8pm set time on Symphony. We were always exhausted getting out of dinner at 10pm.
Its most likely that those times are already taken as when I booked for a different cruise I had all times available

If you have MTD, they don't allow you to book IN ADVANCE the "popular" times. So...just go to the dining room when you board the ship, and request the time you want. EVERYONE wants to eat between 6:45-7:30 or so....
They do allow you to book these times, they just "sell out" faster. I have MTD and have a reservation every night for 6:30 on the ship and had every single time available to me when making the reservations

Just so you know, you can just show up instead of making a reservation. If you want to eat around 6, show up at the dining room around 5:30-5:45 to account for any line. Just because you can't make a reservation doesn't mean you can't eat at that time.
The reason you cannot select the other times is because people made reservations for those times earlier than you did. Its one of those cases where it actually helps to book earlier rather than waiting it out. Best of luck to you
Izumi Sushi Question & Unlimited Dining
in Royal Caribbean International
Posted
Can you get takeout from Izumi? I vaguely remember people doing it when we sailed on Adventure and we will be on Oasis this time. We are planning on getting the unlimited dining package and it would be great if they offered a takeout option so we could get a sushi roll & a meal
As a side question: is the ice cream on board included in unlimited dining?
