Humble brag.
Must be rough, I pray for you.
Bless your heart.

Did you already make your final payment? Did you have insurance?
Final payment made, no insurance.
Told them I was a front line worker with direct contact with C19 patients (which is true).

Cancelled for refund yesterday. I am not scared of the virus, I was worried the cruise would not be enjoyable.

Enjoyed our Boardwalk balcony on Allure years ago. We were on deck 8 which was nice since you are on the same level as Central Park and can easily drop a level or two down to the Boardwalk to grab a dog. We were the second to last cabin so could see the rock wall across, the stage to the rear, and the ocean. Noise wasn't an issue with the door closed. Yes you need to shut your curtains if getting dressed, or don't! It's vacation!
My only gripe is being that far back of the ship, it is a LONG walk whenever arriving or departing your cabin. Make sure you have all your belongings that you could possibly want for your daily/nightly outings.

With all the requirements we're out; not taking my kids to a cruise with these restrictions. I'd be okay if it was only DW and I.
Taking my $3k elsewhere.

Look at one way California uHaul prices and that tells you all you need to know.

I'm just here for the service dog!
I'm taking my service dog on a cruise for the first time in April. She's also a golden retriever! Now I realize I need to teach her to dance!
Have a great cruise!!!!
What kind of service does your dog do?

So they I am guessing they will drop the mask requirements, open venues to all, and not limit activities?

Not sure what kind of link you are seeking. It’s been posted and RCCL states no WJ for dinner at this time. I don’t expect that to change any time soon. Or, as Biker19 points out, it could change later today!!
Information. I'm seeking information. The RCCL website is kind of a mess if you have never noticed.
Thanks for the links to those that helped. This is the first I have heard of it.

anyone have a link to the buffet closures for dinner, please? I'm on Allure in mid-Sept

Are masks required on the pool deck and have they limited the amount of chairs?
Having two kids booked I hate the idea of them having capped the amount of guests in a pool at a time.

Thanks for all the info. My Wife and I are deciding if we will cancel our September cruise on Allure. I know Royal are trying to get sailing going but much of the protocols make no sense whatsoever.

We had patients test positive for weeks and weeks to the point we couldn't discharge patients.
Last August the infectious disease docs were saying patients were non-infectious after 10 days. We were discontinuing isolation orders after 21 days.
I know this doesn't answer the question but does give some insight on how this was working a year ago.

Someone tested positive.
Story goes...."Passenger had cold symptom so went to infirmary, was given a test for covid...."
So I wonder what lesson will be learned........ 😉

Dumb question inbound:
Do you have to do anything extra for double points to post?
Does it count on "comped" cruises?
-
If this holds it does give some justification to the tip removers.
I know those gratuities supposedly go to everyone but this may be an unintended consequence of tacking on more tips to packages.

Genuine question is the interest in hearing cancellations for July so that y'all can get a refund?
I have the week off and need alternate plans. It's a time issue, not a dollar issue.

I too am booked Allure on 11 July.
Cruise planner has been full price for weeks, no upgrade e-mail, no check-in available.
I'd love to go but am doubtful. I have all these casino offers but few dates to book through next March

i heard a concert promoter is charging 1K for a ticket to the concert . but if you prove you got the shot it's just 20 bucks
so maybe charge non vax people 30K for a cruise and give them 90% off if they get the shot. totally voluntary!
also i remember in the old days you werent allowed to charge extra for using a CC for your gas but you could give customers a cash discount if they used cash. there's a way around everything

I sure hope so. My drink package adventure in July is $67pp
Same for Allure. At that price I'll smuggle and get my comp drinks in the casino.

Back to smuggling for me.
Love Royal cruises, dispise the price games.
