Nah we just went over to the two rooms and looked at the doors haha sorry for the lack of updates; we’re just rolling laughing at each others stories. Had our dinner at Catch; which was great as usual. Jason got the surf & turf, Nic got the mushroom crusted halibut, and I finally got my Dover Sole. We went in at 7, and didn’t leave until 9:20, haha. After dinner we took a walk around the ship to walk our dinner off. Then stopped by the casino to suck out the monies. I got my $400 OBC out and then played my $2500 freeplay as 250 hands of $10 single-line video poker; ranbad and only got $1640…I guess it’s better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick. Its 11pm now and were bedding down for the night. I didn’t realize that suites on the Discovery had those stupid auto nightlights! (I’d of brought some painters tape to cover them!)

So the Platinum/Elite happy hour is actually in Take 5 on this ship, because they said there’s only 140 Platinums and 80 Elite’s on this ship!

Damn sorry; we mustered, ate a little lunch; went and seen the two Sky Suites (which actually have four people in them each!) we did take a photo though..although Nic used “filters” so we look a little Cartooney..we’ve gotten unpacked now and ready to party

Ohh I know I won’t, but luckily the Royal class has a kickass buffet. Successfully got my checked bag, dropped it at the princess shuttle location; Now Im waiting for the actual shuttle bus. Itll be funny becuause my last run on Disvovery out of San Pedro they almost wanted to confiscate my little fan (they thought it was a Nuke)…but it’s sailed on every Cruise with me (including many other princess without an issue; Always an issue out of San Pedro) so we’ll see if my suitcase goes to luggage prison and I have to go plead my case That my fan ISNT a nuke and I need it to sleep (it’s either a fan or wear a CPAP)

Ex’s seat got used by a stand-by..it’s crazy how many people fly stand-by (my last flight with ex no-show was also snapped up by a stand-by)

Apprenrly the shuttle my cousins caught was only $27 each..hell, that’s better than an Uber! (At least for one person)

Cousins called me and told me they landed. I totally forgot about luggage; because they were going downtown to check Seattle out..but they didn’t wanna tote around two rollers. So they got the princess airport shuttle and their luggage went on to the ship and they’re walking around the port area.

Bag checked, through security and sitting at the gate for a 9:05 boarding.

The journey has begun..heading to SMF with an ETA of 7:45.

Thanks..yeah and it’s weird..at work..women whom I’ve worked with for YEARS; recently have been complimenting me out of the blue (like “your hair looks good”, or “I like your new slack picture”) so I asked my inner circle at work if they’ve told anyone that I’m a “new man”, and they said NO..so I honestly must just have a different aire about me now. Anyway..got the dishes done and the trash bagged up and ready to go out tomorrow. Finished packing (the new binoculars, and dress socks) now it’s time to get some good REM sleep (I WAS getting good REM sleep lately but since Monday when i found out the ex had went to a lawyer, it’s been like dooodoo all week) Got a 5am wake up call; flight boards at 9:05, so I wanna be walking in the airport at 7:30 to get my bag checked.

Had to run over to Walmart and grab some dress socks. (I don’t actually own any, lol) My cousin said her and her husband are going to dress up for formal night; so I guess I will too. (Taking slacks, a sport coat and dress shoes)
