Two thoughts:
- The good Black Friday sales aren't really on ticket prices.
- The good sales are on "cruise extras" -- drink packages, excursions, etc.
Correct, that is the way it has been the last few years.
I actually never see any across the board sales for tickets. prices change erratically, some times several times a day.

Truth be told, I'm not someone who shops on Black Friday. However 6 of us are going in early January on Wonder of the Seas out of Port C.
Any worthy sales to take advantage of? Happy Thanksgiving everyone.
I am seeing 1130 for interior, 1260 outside, and 1920 ocean view balcony. Surprisingly the central park balconies are higher priced.

Sailing on Liberty December 26 out of Port Everglades. We have a junior suite for the first time. Does my check in time matter, or Will we be put in an area for suite guests to wait, and then we all board together?
Check in time doesn't matter.
If you get there before boarding starts you will wait with other suite guests. There is a separate check in line for suite guest.

We booked on 12/3 out of Miami, booked late. The earliest available check in was 2pm. My husband is a die hard Miami Dolphins fan and the game will be at 1pm. Is there a chance we will be able to board at 11? Thanks.
Yes you can.

Chill Island cabanas on sale for 399 Dec 8, 2023, cruise. Seems cheap compared to recent prices.
I don't rent cabanas but do follow prices.

Right now is the tail end of the covid demand in the US. Prices have already started dropping for next year on many sailings. There have been some big price drops for last minute December cruises if you don't mind inside and ocean view.
Wait for Black Friday sales later this week from the online travel agencies also.
All forms of travel are seeing price declines and a drop in future demand. Easily verified by credit card activity and those in the travel business.

Doesn't the math depend on how many glasses come out of a bottle?
No. Since by the glass with the bev package is free, it does not matter how many you pour out of the bottle.

Hi all - I'm sailing out of Bayonne on the Anthem in 10 days, wohoo! Our arrival time is set to 11am, should we aim to show up to the port for 11, or does that mean we should be inside and ready to check in/walk on at 11? I know security can take a while and don't want to delay embarking by missing our window. How quickly is the process from arrival to stepping on the ship these days?
The process is much faster than in years past. Also, most everyone is reporting that arrival times are not enforced any longer. At least for US ports. On one recent cruise my arrival time was 1pm. I showed up at 10 and boarded right away. Even went before KEY holders who were involved in some sort of delay.

Sailing in a couple of weeks on Oasis and wondering if we should each carry on a bottle of wine, or if at the end of the evening, if we can purchase a bottle of wine at the 40% discount with our DBP to take back to our cabin for a nightcap on our balcony? Will a bar sell it to us, or do we need to get from a restaurant? TIA
Why would you buy a bottle of wine when you have the DBP? Just go grab a glass at a bar and take it back to your cabin. You can order two at a time if you want.

If those are total prices for 2 before taxes then yes great prices. I'd book in a minute.
I'm seeing $1957 total cost for cabin for central park, before taxes current price oct 12 2024. Almost double what I'm paying. Anything to coco cay from Galveston I knew would go only up in price and so it has.
I dont understand how people can post a lower price than what i booked at if the price is almost double since it was released, but if you can book that low, grab it.
per person.
Your price is better since you are single occupancy.

Thank you! So, what if you want to order a 'premium' wine, or scotch...? Do you pay the full price, or a price differential?
You pay the difference.

We're sailing 1st time on RCC, but have loyalty on Celebrity. Doing a transatlantic cruise, Nov-2024. It appears we only have one choice for a drink package, being "Deluxe Beverage Package". On Celebrity, there are two choices, being "Classic" and "Premium". Is this the case, or just due to being a transatlantic?
Only one choice is the Deluxe. This is for all cruises.

My prices were for 2 people and did not include any taxes. No discounts or OBC. Just wondering if those are good prices or not.
Not really wanting to go to Nassau though.

Everything is relative. I booked one of the coco cay early. It was like $20 cheaper than dec 2024 I also had booked for only 7 days. All depends when you booked. There are actually 6 of these. Im booked for the oct 2024 8 day out of Galveston. It was a bargain when released. I'm debating keep it or not as now I want to move to florida. Already cancelled the 2 weeks before xmas which imo was priced too high. I'm just under 1k for the 8 days, in a central park balcony.
I am seeing Ocean view balconies for 816 and Boardwalk view for 761 on the Harmony 8 day Oct 12.
Central Park view 1318.

What exactly is the senior UBP? Not sure I heard about this yet.
55+ and it was offered on some cruises during the Halloween sale I think.
You get a discounted rate about 10 percent below the regular price.

There is an excursion that I would like to purchase on our Anthem cruise for St. Lucia that is available on the app.
However - they want me to pay for it with my credit card.
It is not available on their website!
Have purchased other excursions on their website and I was able to use OBC.
I have lots of OBC and don't want to lay out cash.
I am afraid that I will have to call and wait for hours.
Any clue? TIA
There should be an order summary below the credit card info. Scroll down on the app. Right below the order summary should be the OBC credit available to use. Below that is a box to type in the OBC you want to apply. Then you check the Terms box then select finalize. Next you would select the credit card to use if the OBC did not cover the expense.

Not to sound stupid but....
If the pre-black Friday is effectively BLACK FRIDAY sales for RCL then I won't bother checking anymore?
It will be one long sale that starts off as pre Black Friday, then Black Friday, and then Cyber Monday.
Cruise planner items will not get cheaper except maybe some shore excursion that are slow selling. Some will increase a little and may sell out.
There is one hope for the UBP. They roll out the senior UBP for some sailings.

Kids under 6 are complimentary for specialty dining and dining packages For an upcoming cruise it is letting me book all of my us and hi have to pay, but if I include the younger kids it won’t let me click to put it in the cart. However, they should be able to join us either way as they are complimentary. Anyone with experience on this? It will let me add
them for smaller dining plans so perhaps a capacity issue. Should I just book three of us and assume they will allow the under 6 kids for each meal?
Should I just book three of us and assume they will allow the under 6 kids for each meal? Correct.
They don't have the checkout setup to comp the under 6.

I live in South Florida, and could theoretically hop on a cruise anytime. No flight or hotel needed. Have passport--will travel, so to speak. Are there truly "last minute" cabins made available, or are the so called last minute deals weeks or months before sailing?
Deep discounts for cruises within 30 days of sailing seem to be a thing of the past. The best I have seen are in the 45–90-day range before sailing. If there are any, they are probably going to be offered by online travel agencies and mostly inside cabins.

Well well well, the cruise planner checkout page is frozen, and I called and the phone rep says he can't even get into the system. He said "don't worry, they're working on it. I apologize for any inconvenience." I'm not holding my breath to actually get the Coco Cay thrill pass for $43.99. Grrrrr. Is anyone surprised? 🤣
You will get it.
It is the same price for me. I have no interest in the waterpark but that is lower than last year, and it remained available for10 days.

Does anyone know how long this Black Friday sale is supposed to last? Will it still be going on on Black Friday?
It likely will run all the way thru Cyber Monday which is the 27th. Then it will get extended 24 or 48 hours. Dining package and shore excursion are capacity limited so the best ones will sell out.

Got the UDP for a 11-night cruise for 285 including gratuity. It includes 6 sea day lunches and 11 dinners. Comes out to 16.80 per meal. Not bad. It was 45 percent off.

It says up to 55 percent. Very few beverage or dining packages will see that, in fact, probably none. 55 percent will be photo package, internet, and private island activities like jet ski and zipline.
