  1. This looks accurate by my recollection. We were in D415 and definitely not covered (we’d seen a different map that indicated may be partial). Not a huge deal for us - just wear a hat lol - but we also found the balcony furniture to be not the most comfortable so mostly standing & sunset watching.
  2. Glad to see the update. We were curious about some of our favorite crew members from our trip in November/Dec. on the Island. Looks like the ED (was that his title?) changed on Island after the S.America cruise. We had Tom who was amazing (& whose last name i’d love to remember — we will pick any ship he is on). Glad they changed the CD. We were not overly impressed w Benny except for the culinary show. It will be a couple of years before anyone in our family considers cruising again though :(
  3. I posted this in Colombia forum but no replies. Wondering if anyone here has Princess-specific info. Trying to narrow down Cartanga excursions. Like history but I have bad feet so by that point on the trip, I am nervous about committing to walking all day. Family (son 12 & husband) wants to do the city tour with boat in the harbor. I'm debating whether to join them or do something else. Looking for reviews/recommendations from others who have done this cruise (or other Princess). There is one with cultral dancers, which I'd love but my family won't LOL. Also: * Safety if I chose to go on a different excursion by myself? (woman in 40s) * and about this incline at the Fort? Does anyone have a picture of this? Also happy to take recs on others. For example, we'd love to do just the turtle sanctuary (to get more than the 40 minutes there) on Grand Cayman but haven't been able to find that option.
  4. That’s the package I was thinking about. I confused the pieces when I posted :-)
  5. Thank You! I definitely prefer Mighty Leaf so this helps. I’m thinking $23 for Coffee I won’t drink + unlimited tea might be the better deal. lol
  6. Glad I asked. That’s probably what I’ll do.

  8. Hi. We are leaving on Island Princess to Panama Canal on 11/26. I don't drink coffee but I drink tea - hot & iced. Is it possible to get just a cup of hot water if I want to bring my own tea bags? (I have a few favorites & not knowing what they have on board). How much is hot tea on board? And, does anyone know if the Coffee Grounds package inlcudes hot tea? I think it says unlimited but 15 specialty coffees. I don't drink coffee at all but do dring hot chocolate & tea so may be worth it?
  9. following as I often bring my own sheets on a trip due to allergy to an ingredient in most commercial detergents. 😞 If not a standard Twin or Q size then I guess I'm out of luck.
  10. Wondering about Princess kids club. The Lodge is 8-12 and Treehouse is 13+. Our son will be just a couple of months shy of 13 on our cruise so we are concerned that 8 yr olds may be a little young and he will likely have more in common with the teens. I wish they had (say) a 12-14 or something similar as some other lines do. I know the teens don't have to sign out, which is a concern; but curious about the experiences others have had. Thanks!
  11. Thought I was quoting a response to my original post when I posted a new comment. But then saw that I was not and posted another response WITH the appropriate comment quoted. Then went back to the original comment that did not include the quote and found that the edit option was no longer showing up. Is there any way to delete my comment without the quoted information? It looks messy & is now duplicated info. and more for mobile users to scroll through. It’s ridiculous that self-deleting is not allowed as every other message board & online community has a way. I’m hoping someone can help! 🙂 [although this is a new user name, I was a member previously years ago w an email address I can no longer access so am not a newbie to CC 🙂 ]
  12. So the challenge with that is that they have 8-12 and 13-17. He will be 2 months shy of 13 so while he is excited about the kids club space (he’s already found videos of it online) & I’ve read about some of the cool educational activities they do, he’s pretty sure he’d prefer the older kids. I wish they had a 12-14ish age as there is a HUGE difference between 8&12 and 12&17. :( also don’t really want him completely unsupervised. So it’s tricky.

  14. Taking our son on his first cruise in Nov/Dec this year (Panama Canal). He’s excited there is a kids club area but not sure he will fit. He’s 12 and will actually only be a couple of months shy of his 13th bday when we go, but the kids club is 8-12 & 13-17. Has anyone done a Cruise with this age, particularly w Princess? Curious to hear your tips/experiences.
  15. I kind of like meeting other people and will miss that but w so many people doing ATD now vs traditional, I know it’s not the same as it once was. Hopefully we will find some other kids around his age
