All cans of soda (Monsters included) and bottles of wine (1 per adult) MUST be in carry on.  If they are in checked, good possibility that they would be confiscated.  I would recommend putting your toiletry bag and aerosol cans in checked.  But you need to carry on beverages.

    Booooo but thank you

  2. I have to unload some of this dead weight as I can’t even lift my carry-on. I’m bringing 4 cans of Java monsters, does Sri is still need to be carried on? Will they take 5e, out of I put in my checked? What about aerosol cans?  If I could put my cooler bag and toiletry bag in my check I wouldn’t have any issues with it being to heavy and my checked bag  isn’t even full

  3. So after getting the email that we can schedule an appointment at the pier and take one  there I made two appointments. I found out that my drs office does the rapid test and my Insurance  covers it. My girlfriend rather just keep the pier appointments, I on the other hand would like to save $100. I really don’t want to cancel my appointment but I also don’t want to get there and they tell me since I didn’t cancel I have to still pay. But then I saw someone say that they will need to call the drs office to verify? We leave thanksgiving and there will be no want to call them

You did not specify if you are vaccinated or not, so I'm assuming you are.  A rapid antigen test for vaccinated individuals is fine as long as it is provided by a medical provider like a clinic or is the Abbott BinaxNow Ag Rapid Antigen HOME test (and not the self test).  The self test is not proctured but the home test is which is required.  It also needs to meet the other requirements like include your name (matching to your ID), birthdate, date of test, results.  I did both for my cruise earlier this month.  I did a rapid antigen test at a drive thru clinic at Hoag Hospital here in Orange County CA and I did the BinaxNow Home test proctured online.  Either was acceptable for Carnival.

Yep I’m am vaccinated and have the booster

  5. We are on valor next month and we have decided not to leave the ship in Cozumel.  So with all that money we will save we decided we might splurge and get some spa services.

We are curious is the manicure and pedicure just that or do they massage hands and feet too?

has anyone had the peel? Is it like a chemical peel? Curious if it would really work on sun spots or leave us all red and achy  or if it’s a milder version

Also….  What is the tipping etiquette

    tia! Happy cruising!

No!!!  The test you just purchased is NOT accepted by the cruise line because it is not monitored!!

The at home tests that are accepted have to be ordered from Optum or Emed.

  7. Am I the only one that feels extreme anxiety when trying to figure out the plans for testing? Our cruise isn’t even until thanksgiving but every time I try to research I just get overwhelmed. My girlfriend is driving from Florida here to Ms. on Tuesday, then Wednesday we are driving to New Orleans, cruise leaves thanksgiving day. The Who,what and where’s I just can’t seem to wrap y head around on what we should do about our testing. I know nothing about the telehealth test I keep hearing about. Grrr sorry for venting lol

  8. I hope everyone is well.

I just wanted some ideas, we have a cruise books for thanksgiving week. My girlfriend has never cruised before so on her birthday I want to put a basket together of fun stuff and things she can use, all cruise related

    Give me some good ideas!

  9. we had a deposit down on a thanksgiving cruise.  We decided even if it wasn’t  canceled we would not go for safety reason so ultimately just didn’t pay off the cruise. Now that the cruise is canceled do you think we have a chance to get that refund back?

Not a big deal either way but I wouldn’t mind being able to put deposit on another cruise.
how would I go about checking into this or requesting a refund or transfer?

  10. How would this be handled. My daughter and I are driving in but my friend and his niece are flying in. I know if you have an early flight you can self assist and disembark early. If they end up with a early return flight will they allow us to to do the same since we are their ride to the airport?

New to Carnival:  Is the FTTF pass worth it?

So we bought it last cruise for the first time. Hindsight it probably wasn’t worth the cost to us. Yes, we was able to get right on the ship but there wasn’t even anyone waiting in the lobby and this was around 11:30ish. Our home port is New Orleans and it seems to be one of the easier ports. Went to put our bags in our room and the main doors was closed and never having fttf we had to wait and see someone to ask if we could go in, we just didn’t know protocol. I had to go to customer service 3 times and once was there a small line so the benefit there wasn’t that great. We didn’t have any tendering ports.
next cruise I think we will just take our time getting to port, maybe eat lunch in the Quarter so we don’t have to fight mobs of people on lido looking for a place to sit.
