Just wondering if anyone has experience with noise from the engines on deck 2 of the magic. And if the 6th deck balconies have noise from the promenade deck.
thanks.

We have booked deck 15 aft under the lido. How's the noise?
Thanks

We have a 6 year old and 2 year old who cannot sit still for long during dinner, but we really want to use the MDR for dinner and not the buffet. Hit me with your best suggestions to keep them busy.
thank you.

This may be a stupid question but can this be done in the car at the side of the road or in a parking lot with a data plan?

Even with that burger, the food looked a lot better then the hospital food here. I’m curious what the medical bills were.

Trying to decide if we should do anthem out of NJ this March. What is there for kids to do other than AO, Ages 2-6? Can kids use the solarium pool for the first couple days while it’s cold outside?
thanks.

Sorry if it was discussed somewhere else, but as Canada doesn't actually have a Federal vaccine passport, I assume the email we got from Ontario Ministry of Health after vaccination is considered proof of vaccination?
Ontario does have a vaccine certificate that you can download. https://covid-19.ontario.ca/get-proof/

I would call ahead. They were showing bookings on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day but when I went in to check they told me the online booking was an error.
Can't help you with the actual but wanted to share.
I assume your kids need PCR tests because they are unvaccinated and you've gotten an exemption?
Thanks I’ll give them a call. We’re going on RCCL and they now require unvaxxed kids get a PCR test instead of a rapid antigen.

Just wondering if anyone had issues with rexall tests, we’re using them for our kids PCR and the cost is $80, which is a lot cheaper than most places. Thanks.

It really doesn’t seem that bizarre to me. Maybe OP doesn’t feel comfortable taking off their masks in a mess hall eating with a thousand other cruisers also without their masks, but still want to experience the other parts of the cruise experience.
To the OP - I think you can ask to be seated in a vaccinated only section of the MDR if that will help.
THIS!! thank you!
You said it for me. We are actually going to be with our kids (unvaccinated) and it was just a thought since we will be sitting with other unvaccinated families without masks.
It's not a total big deal, but if the option existed (right now during covid times), and we could take the food to the cabin, that would be something to consider. I'm a seasoned cruiser and know the logistics of taking food out of the MDR, but thought that during these times, they may have another option.
-
Thanks. So it sounds like the option is one of us from our family goes to the MDR and orders food for all of us basically to go. We are not in any suite.
-
if we’re not comfortable eating in the MDR, can we take the food to our cabin? Prefer MDR food to the buffet.

We have used the land border twice last week and thinking of going again today. We had a ton of stuff in our PO box and divided it up so as not to exceed the limit we were bringing back and therefore, avoid GST etc.
We have Nexus and that's all we needed going south. Coming back we had completed and printed our ArriveCAN and the border guard told us we didn't need to do that. Since we are Nexus holders, when we completed the ArriveCAN on-line, it appeared on the guard's computer. You do have to complete an ArriveCAN every time you cross.
We haven't filled in a Travellers Declaration card at the land border forever as we see to it we do not exceed the limit. If you do exceed the limit, then you get sent in to the office where you give your info and pay whatever you owe.
We use the land border about every two weeks for shopping etc.
Thank you, good to know. I was used to the old way of filling out the "I Declare" form which was a PITA.
-
Like most people, we haven't crossed the border since Feb 2020. Nexus used to have a declaration form to be filled out when coming back into Canada via land border. Are we to use the ArriveCan app now instead?
Thanks

Ok, so explain like I’m 5. My flight is on Tuesday afternoon, I cannot get a test taken Tuesday morning? It has to be Monday?

When they say a day before departure, does that mean we need to get tested the day before? or does it mean within 24 hours of departure? so a rapid test on the day of departure would be ok?

Our condo is in fort Lauderdale and we will be sailing out of POM. Getting to the port we're not worried, but going back, if we get an Uber, will that be a big hassle? or should we arrange a shuttle?
thanks

All inclusive on Sunday?
in Cozumel

We're going to be in Cozumel on a Sunday, and the resorts are all closed on sundays for day passes. Any reason why? any resorts that are open?
Thank you
