When you walk off the ship, you will see the entrance to the water taxi a little further down the dock promenade, on the left side.  I don't recall if there is a precise schedule, but the taxis run regularly, so we've always just hopped on the next one.

Where does the water taxi let you off (which beach)? Is it easy to find your way back to the ship?

We enjoy taking the water taxi to beach,  boardwalk and shopping. We always stop at Juggies- 2 beers and a cigar $5-.

    Safe sailing

We are sailing on Royal Caribbean. How / where do I catch the water taxi from there? Do you recall the price? Is there a schedule posted for return times?

What safety risk are you looking to avoid?  How old a child are we talking about?  Secure in their seat on the ride or secure from a mean teenager picking on them in line?

    I wouldn't leave a 6 year old alone but I might a 15 year old.

Parents always need to supervise their children.  Royal staff running the ride are not Adventure Ocean baby sitters nor will they escort a young child back to their parents on the beach somewhere.

I am not looking for someone to babysit them. Just want to know if the operators do a good job making sure the riders are secure. 1 of mine tends to be a little spacey. Last trip to Haiti, RC staff did not operate the ride. It was men from Haiti.

  5. Wondering how this is organized. Is it set up so that children can safely wait in line for their turn and go on it without a parent? Do the attendants do a good job making sure the riders are secure or is it really up to the rider to make sure they are secure before the ride starts? Thank you! Trying to figure out if the kids can be off and running with this or if it will require my constant (hopefully not) supervision.

We are stopping in Labadee on our Feb 23rd cruise.  However, I don't see Wave Jet tours as an option for shore excursions.  Is it possible that  Suite folks get first dibs?  Or perhaps they stopped doing these?

This the actual title. Hope it helps.  http://www.royalcaribbean.com/shoreExcursions/product/detail/view.do?sourcePage=shorexByPort&ProductCode=ZL03&DestinationCode=

Suite folks don't get first dibs. I'm going and I have never been close to a suite. Always deck 3 ocean view. Where are you sailing from? I'm trying to find the excursion on your itinerary.
