Thanks for your reply. I’ve seen one video where people either met or signed up to have dinner with other single people. It looked like a chance to socialize with other people. I was recently on a Princess Cruise & someone in our CC group arranged a table for 10 each night which gave us a chance to dine with the same people & meet others in a way we wouldn’t have a chance to do.

Was there special hours for the bar?

    Thanks again.

    Tom😀

    no worries.

mon breakaway it was open in the evenings if i remember correctly.   on encore, there isn’t a bar per say.  they have wine on tap.

  2. I have been in the studios 3 times and I find it fantastic.  Suitcase will fit under the bed.

    Meeting time for what?

You can eat dinner anywhere you like with anyone you like.  Go be social.

The lounge is always open.  in the morning they have fruit and pastry and things like that.

I have never really just hung around the lounge but do enjoy it for the morning and grabbing a wine while getting ready for dinner

We're heading there next week and I see that many of the cigar stores are several blocks from the secured area at Taino Bay. What's your opinion of the safety when venturing outside?

it’s safe. you can take a cab if you don’t want to walk. I would can it to stay away from them trying to sell you everything under the sun.

yeah I have an Alaska cruise (Bliss) in May, and beside being vaccinated and tested before sailiing, we have to AGAIN have a test before Victoria.  I have to test on the ship?   that's just weird. And, I really do not want to pay for the test, they're free at home.

I go back to AK in october. I will be watching to see how this testing thing plays out since victoria is the last day…

That doesn't explain that their model was different in the fall.  They were offering steep discounts in December and up until the January pull-pack in operations.

I’m not sure where you were seeing deep discounts cuz I was not.  I have 4 cruises booked in 2022 and none of them were at that much of a discount.

  6. wwwhhaaaaa. I have to wear a mask….. whwwwhhaaaa I’m gonna cry and whine and let it ruin my whole life… The Horror… good lord you entitled bunch of weirdos. The fact that there is a 4 page thread on simple mask rules is sad.  It’s not tough to wear a mask. It doesn’t cause you harm. It is a safety net and required to keep people healthy so that they may actually continue to operate.
