Just last night I had a serious conversation with my wife about going on a cruise if we needed to wear a mask inbetween sips and bites of food, or while sunbathing on the pool deck. We were never anti-maskers but that wasn't really our idea of a vacation.
With the trip not until late November I am now confident there will be few mask rules holding us back.

We are waiting to hear about our Nov cruise as well. We assume masks will be required some places and I can somewhat live with that. Our only "hard pass" will be if masks are required on the pool deck.
That's my breaking point too. I'll wear a mask indoors with no complaints, but outdoors and especially on the pool deck is a deal-breaker for me. Especially when there's a 98% vaccination requirement and the CDC's own recommendations don't require masks outdoors anymore.

I'm worried about my November cruise. And I wish they'd make a determination on if they're going to demand masks absolutely everywhere on a cruise where everyone over 18 is vaccinated.

If they're mandating vaccinations, and mandating pre-boarding COVID tests, then I don't understand the value of continuing to demand masks everywhere. That boat is the safest place in the country.

What's the feeling on a Symphony cruise departing out of Florida in late November. Think that's going to happen?

I've had a family vacation blowout trip on the Symphony out of Florida booked since mid-2019. There were several times that I've considered cancelling. It's starting to look like there's a 90% chance its going to happen!

I've been booked for two years on a Caribbean cruise that leaves out of Florida right after Thanksgiving. It's impossible to get 2BR Aquatheater suites too so if this gets cancelled I might not cruise again for many years.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with orienting your business in a way that reduces your taxable liabilities to the maximum legal amount. Not only is there nothing wrong with it, but a company would be stupid to do otherwise. The cruise lines are still way ahead after decades of foreign incorporation even if they don't get a bailout.
I feel the same for the employees as I do the bartender at my favorite spot around the corner. Fortunately while the legislation doesn't deliver a penny to the cruise lines, it does fund unemployment for their former employees. Maybe they'll find a new industry where they will be less replaceable.

I booked a November 2021 cruise on the first day it was available because 2br spacious aquatheater suites are also very rare. Then the day before Thanksgiving they came out with a 60% off and kids sail free promotion, only saved me $70 on a $12,000 bill.

I just booked an Aquatheatre Suite for a 2021 sailing direct through the website. But now I have 60 days to transfer that reservation somewhere else if I want to. Can anyone recommend a TA that gives the maximum on board credit?

So much talk about Coastal Kitchen. Is it the best specialty restaurant on the ships?

Some Symphony sailings in July and December of 2021 were just released, the same ones that were briefly available last week before being removed.
-
Are you guys saying that its possible to have a travel agent book and/or view the unreleased sailings?
-
Not even necessarily inside information, just experience with these schedule releases from the past.

What I'm saying even if there were (unlikely) you can get them even if you are already booked.
That's outstanding. So the strategy is to book on day one of availability, and call up Royal Caribbean every time I see the price get lower?

Welcome to CC.
Assuming a NA booking, you can get price drops and perks adjustments after booking - but don't expect any due to BF or CM.
So you're saying you don't anticipate any discounts on suites in the BF or CM sales?

I'll be dropping about $10k on a two bedroom aquatheater suite for a cruise in late 2021. I know these book up quickly so I want to jump on it as soon as it becomes available. The schedule release happens on November 18th, but the Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales won't be for another two weeks after that.
How can I make sure I don't miss the 2br ATS while still getting the benefit of any black friday or cyber monday sales?
Check RCCL website / call travel agent to re-price cabin

How can I check prices on a 2br aquatheater suite when they've been sold out for a year?
