Last year with the virus ramping up, we toured and then departed Mauritius. Little did we know that the stops in Colombo, Cochin, Mumbai, and Dubai would never happen because the countries barred us from entry. We finally ended the cruise early in Moscat, Oman, and flew home from there.

It's been two weeks since our second Pfizer shot, so we're supposedly "immune". So now we feel as the old saying, "all dressed up and no place to go". But we'll all get back aboard someday.

Looks like we'll refund and start over.

Captain Davidson was in charge aboard Quest leaving Cape Town 2/20/2020 when the virus really struck. He and his team were really challenged as various countries closed their ports to us. They stood up to it extremely well, to the point we enjoyed the cruise and the trip home.
Smooth sailing in your future, Captain.

I have two bookings aboard the Koningsdam for Alaska in June. Today I received emails for both bookings announcing that the final payment date had changed from 90 days to 60 days before sailing.
Just curious if anyone else had received these emails?
We received the same thing for our May 29 sailing on Koningsdam. But the losses if WE cancel dates did not change.

Look a little closer at the crow - it is not crossed quills
My old eyes and the resolution of the image makes it hard to distinguish just what is there. CT?

Glad you are feeling OK. Definitely worth it - can't wait until February 16 for dose 2. Hope my DH fares as well after he gets dose one tomorrow.
I did extensive research on York and planned out an entire day, planned walk, places to visit, etc. Railway Museum is on the list. I kept all that info so I can easily update it if my plans include a visit. And doing it by land from London means we can plan for more than just an 8 hour day visit. The list of places to see grows ever longer....😉
Have a pint at the "House of The Trembling Madness" while there. On Stonegate near the Minster.

This summer might be a good time to fly to Anchorage or Fairbanks. Then join a HAL land tour. Or join one of the several tours operated by Alaskan companies. Or rent a car and do your own trip.

Dude, you cancelled all of your Azamara cruises.
That is your opinion, which you are entitled to. Lots of other people totally disagree with you. One opinion won't rain on our parade, thank you very much.
Have you noticed that some groups just seem to be happier than other similar groups?

Now we know the end of this thread.

My wife's brother takes a month in Aruba every Frebruary. Twenty-some years now. We flew down to join them in their condo for a long weekend during Carnival. Wow. A great place, but you can't appreciate it on a one-day visit from a cruise liner. We enjoyed our five-day stay, about right for a first visit.

I rode Haddo on TAD a couple of times. Perhaps I met him. RIP, sir.
