  1. Thanks for that insight. I figured we probably have to be early risers to get to do anything for those short stops.. maybe we will just end up going to the spa as well and relax!
  2. @Time4Vaca how was your trip? I also just booked the Bliss for the July 2024 Alaska itinerary. Was worried about the short port stops/shuttling based on what I've been reading from other threads... but I took a gamble and booked it anyway. Were you able to cruise around Dawes Glacier at least? Saw some reviews that you couldn't see much unless you booked the excursion to see things up close.
  3. Thanks - i should have asked before boarding. Saw a post from 2022 that people just asked the guest services/ housekeeping and were provided the lotion. I tried asking as well but was told no.
  4. For anyone interested Currently on the Norwegian Viva and there is no body lotion provided in the cabin so bring your own. We called housekeeping they said go to the gift store and purchase it they do not provide lotion anymore.
  5. will they run specials on the spa pass while on board, or is it usually just a better deal to purchase it ahead of time?
  6. may i ask what room you were in... that location sounds awful close to a cabin i was looking at on the viva (i assume prima/viva may have the same issues) - 10706 starboard side but if you were forward on deck 10 i was thinking maybe the same issue exists there as well
  7. Date of Cruise: 8/9/2023 Ship: Apex Cabin #: 12189 and 12182 Deck #:12 Cabin Category:Concierge class Cabin Location: Midship Bed Position: 12189 had bed close to balcony; 12182 had bed close to the door Balcony Type: infinite verandah Balcony/Window Size: Balcony/Window View/Obstruction: see comments Balcony Overhang?: 12182- from magic carpet Magic Carpet Issues?: simple panoramic photos left to right of the window capture the magic carpet in your photos Noise Issues?: Both rooms had creaking at night, 12189 could hear pool chairs in the morning at 5am Wind Issues?: n/a Connecting Cabin? Where Does it Connect?: n/a Suite Details: Advantages/Problems/Comments: 12182 could see parts of magic carpet when you look out the window towards the left; on the right, there was a weird hinge thing that might be part of a motor? not sure what it was. 12189 had obstruction with this slanted beam smack 1/3 of the way of the window on the left; the right side also had a semicircle protrusion- not sure what it was either. sofa was visiblity dirty in 12189 (like smudge marks and skid marks from a tire or something) Would You Book It Again?: maybe Photos or Photo Links:
  8. Oh bummer.. we will probably have to use that as our morning alarm every day then..
  9. I know there is a spreadsheet for edge class cabins and thread started last summer 2022 regarding deck 12 cabins with noise from deck14 but was hoping to gain some more insight since some of the comments made weren't exactly close to our cabins. Going on a cruise on the Apex in cabins 12189 and 12182 - one port midship one starboard midship. They are close to the elevators, and right below deck 14 right around the area of the pool chairs that are right next to gents/elevators and ladies/elevators on the deck plan. Anyone stay in either of those two areas and have issues with pool chairs being dragged around at night? Was hoping maybe that is the quiet corner of the pool area since those chairs seem to be in a corner of the pool area...contemplating moving to deck 11 aft but not sure if it's that bad.
