After reading the above and sailing in October, 2020 I looked at the Romance package.   The first thing I noticed no $79 package but it has gone up to  $179 but you do get a couple of extra items, canapé's, professional photo and roses in the room everything else I think you got with the $79 package, dinner at La Bistro, wine and strawberries.  For $169 you get dinner at the La Caucina and do not get a couple of items that you get with the $179 La Bistro package.    I am going to rethink getting this since we received the dinner package and the Latitude coupon for dinner at La Bistro any paying only $79 in the past.

I didn’t see the $179 package only the $169 I would love to get a free photo album

OOoh thats even better, Free is for me! Yeah the package is pretty much the same its just its $300 and all it has more than the $169 romance package is the 25 minute massage and I'm not really all that excited for it so I'm not sure it's worth it for us. Thanks so much for the info. <3

We did this each cruise.  We bought the Anniversary package.  I think they were the same.  It was $79 for a nice basic package. No massage.  The price exploded a couple years ago. To me now, it’s not worth it.

You could or you can call NCL and buy one for yourself or anyone onboard.  Spa passes don't show up online to purchase but you can call NCL directly. I just purchased mine last week for Encore.

So as Newlyweds, it was totally worth the expense. I went with the Deluxe Romance since it had the extra piece. You do get basic breakfast delivered, but this is an expanded breakfast. The flowers were beautiful and lasted all week. Roses are my favorite flower and I loved looking at them all week. Room service even filled the vase for us! All of the food is really good. Loved the French restaurant. 

 

The champagne is nice, but unneccessary if you have the open bar package. We actually ended up bringing it home with us and celebrating again.

 

My dairy farmer husband thought the massage was strange, but I enjoyed it. Next time, I might just get the package without it and get a massage seperate.

 

The canapes were six little things, but something nice to come into the room and see.

 

Overall, I would get it again!

I assume the one in the package would be a full hot breakfast.  As I said, we got the regular package rather than the deluxe because we figured a 25 min massage might be too short, and as I am always up first, I run up to the buffet and grab coffee and croissants so she gets breakfast in bed everyday 😉

 

OH! I completely misunderstood. I think 25 minutes is too short too. It takes me that long to fall asleep 😂 I think I'll do the regular package too. The one offered on our cruise is for two to la Cucina. Thanks so much for all the info!

I can tell you I ordered the  regular romance package for our 25th annv. cruise.  We didn't really care about the massage or breakfast in bed, the rest was great.  We sailed out of Miami and the roses looked as fresh at disembarkation as the day we boarded.  My wife hated to leave them behind.  Le Bistro was great!

Thanks so much Karl! My understanding is that you can order breakfast in bed anyway right? I did just that on my last cruise. I can't wait to try Le Bistro! How was the massage, or did you guys skip it?

I'm going on a cruise on the Norwegian Dawn in March. I was in the process of checking in and it asked me how I would like to settle the on-board charging. I have three questions I was hoping you guys could help me with. 

1) How much is the deposit for two people? (the cruise is 5 days long)

2) If I select one method for on-board charging can I change it later? 

3) Has anyone ever done a cash deposit? How much is it per person?
