  1. We had the same experience in april after here refit. We sailed the Navigator november 2018 with the old spa and gym. In april 2019 the sauna was gone, there was only a sauna for people with a spa appointment available.

    We were very disappointed.

And we will experience the same with the Explorer that we sailed last november (spa and gym as we like it), and we booked the Explorer  again for november 2020 after the refit in may. So we probably have to cancel that one.

Royal Caribbean why are you doing this?

  2. I see the sauna's disappearing from the Voyager class ships after there refurbs, so I have to change some booked cruises. (or start looking for other cruiselines!)

Can somebody tell me if there is a sauna (dry and steam) on the Anthem of the Seas, and is it for free or do you have to pay for it like on the Oasis of the Seas.

    Thanks.

Sailing May2, 2020 with Royal Caribbean on Brillance of the Seas ship. Ship is arriving in Amsterdam May 17,2020. Planning on staying in the city for a couple of days and was wondering where the ship docks in relation to hotels and taxis.

In the back of central station to the right, you see a Disney ship on the picture.

I know the site is in French, for those of you that don't understand you can use the instant translate in google chrome browser.

You can also simply look at those amazing pictures and videos. It's pretty cool to see the engine change video and those workers underneath the massive ship.

thanks, very nice pictures and videos

  5. On a cruise earlier this year I purchased an Open Booking for the first time. Months later I realized that my credit card had not been charged the $100 pp deposit. I did receive the Open Booking Confirmation by e-mail. On there it shows "Amount Paid: 0.00, Payment deposit of 200.00 is due at time of booking and is non-refundable. Balance of full deposit will be due when final payment is made."

Has anyone else had this happen? I'll have my TA check when I'm ready to book my next cruise, but I wanted to see what CC folks have experienced. Thanks.

I purchased 2 Open bookings on my last cruise, they send them by e-mail (they were to busy with NORO), but I never received them.

  6. Windjammer Marketplace (Deck 16 Aft)

For those of you who are nautically savvy, the name is a little misleading. On most (all?) other classes of RCI ships, the Windjammer is at the front of the ship, "jamming" into the "wind". On the Oasis class, you'll find the Windjammer at the back.

Great review, great pictures, but I dont now any RCI ship with the windjammer in the front, they are all in the back.

  7. The buffet is ok. there is more then pastas and stir fry.

In the back of the buffet they grill steaks, chicken and fish (they grill it when you order) and there are fries, potatos and more every night.

The only thing is that every night it is the same food over and over again, they change nothing, except a different kind of meat at the grill.
