Our ship stops there on March 29 & 30. I am worried about crime after dark that is why I am asking for advise.

We are stopping in Saint Maarten overnight. If anyone has recently been to this port for the overnight stay, I am open to any suggestions as what we can do in the evening. Thanks. :D:D:D

Realistically the market changes. Some members no longer cruise and they need to cater to the next generation. This is a normal business cycle. This happens with every business.

I enjoy every cruise I go on because I never know if it may be the last one. I ignore the little things. As far as food goes, our tastes change as we get older. Food items are more salty or sweet. Moving around cruise lines is a plus because you get to have new experiences. I enjoy Celebrity and look forward to my next cruise. Take it all in....I am grateful for all of my travels.

Can't wait to try Blu! Some people are just snobs. I throw out their opinions until I try it for myself.

Does anyone know what Celebrity pre-approves on your CC at çheck in?

We are on that cruise. Generally 10 day cruises attract no Spring Break crowds or families. There may be a few. There is a motorcycle club on board that cruise. It's fun to see them ride off on their bikes.

That's not good. They keep taking away free or " food included" and make us pay extra. No more sushi at the buffet now no burgers? They better beef up something else. More onboard credits!

I have brought items from where I live, near Disney, and passed them out to people in the hotel who helped me. This was when we were in Aruba. They all appreciated it as we appreciated their service.

8344 on Solstice is excellent. It's not Concierge, but I didn't miss any of the benefits of that class. It's in the middle of the row of aft-facing cabins so has a wider balcony than the others. Perfectly quiet and no soot, which I read was a concern beforehand. Nice long walk from the stairs so I could work off the wonderful meals I had!

We had that cabin and the balcony is larger. Loved the wake. Long walk from the elevator but you get used to it.

Relaxing, nice mix of guests, great food and service. Great ports of call.

SV cabins have a great view but it's a lot of walking to the elevator.

We were able to upgrade from a balcony to A1. Nothing changed but the rate was slightly higher. $20 pp. 😀 Yes, it depends on current promotions.

Have any recent cruisers found that the quality of beverages were lacking? I have been reading that beverage service and drinks are not as good as it used to be ie. watered down. I always upgrade to the premium drink package but I would like to hear from those who recently sailed.

Have the bars been extra crowded as well? Is it more difficult to get a drink?

You also get extra points when sailing in Aqua class. They also have the nice shower. Blu is a nice perk. It's your vacation and what you might enjoy more.

We went to Michael's when staying in concierge. Our next cruise we are booked in Aqua. Has this changed to suite guests only?

Travel agent commissions are built in and a TA may offer perks such as on board credits when you book with them. The travel agent is not allowed to charge more then the published rate on celebrity cruise lines website.

Aruba has some great restaurants and casinos. Oranjestad is right there. Some of the shops might adjust their hours to accommodate the cruisers. It is a great island to stay over.

Our 14 day changed for 2017. Like the new itinerary but would rather keep Antigua and lose St. Kitts. Overnight in Aruba :) longer stay in Barbados! Looks great to me!

Take away the loud jarring afternoon music at the outdoor pool. On Caribbean it should be steel drums, Jimmy Buffet, etc. it was so bad on our last cruise we had to leave. There was no melody, just loud thumping sounds.

YES! Agree 100%. I have put that on the survey form each time I have sailed. The D J plays no Caribbean style music.

When the cruise lines upsell, I believe they are trying to make a profit but also informing you of other services available on the ship. They are also trying to increase your experience on the cruise. Yes sometimes it gets on your nerves because every time you turn around someone is trying to upsell you. This cruise line or any cruise line is in business to make a profit.

The difference to upgrade is still $11.80 per day! Please cancell and, never mind, who cares. Long live Carnival!
