Thanks.  I actually called DCL three times and got three different answers.  One rep told me she needed a green card, lol.

We are having passport problems for kids too.  Waiting two months for renewals and no sign of lousy passports.  Emailed dcl they said we could use a short form BC or copy of long form.  I suggest you email get it in writing.  Obv if she is US citizen,  doesn’t need GC lol.

  2. A couple of more questions!  I think I remember reading somewhere that Disney no longer has dining in the buffet at dinner?   We are not great about getting to assigned dinner times.  Do they still have free room service?  I remember that they have pizza and hamburgers on deck all day— I think.  Just wondering what options are if we miss the dining room?

They expire at different dates.  The two you posted were used for a a cruise.  Look at the status.  There are obviously more credits.  Your goodwill credit shown expires in 6 weeks.  When is your cruise?

It is next week.  I cannot figure out if those were used or if that’s what is left?  Basically, did Princess use the one expiring first on the upcoming cruise or the one that expires later.  But I just figured out if I try to book an upcoming cruise in 2023, I can see if any FCC shows up.   I did it and it looks good.  Thanks

  4. How can I tell which cruise credits have been used?  It says I have about $890 available cruise credits but does not say when they expire.  Then it says this on the detail.  Are the amounts on the detail showing what has already been used?

  5. When we moved someone out of a cabin once, they rebooked the entire cabin at the current going rate.  They also forced us to move to a different cabin to fit the new capacity.  I think we would have been better off financially to do the no show option.  I find dropping and adding people can be complicated with Carnival.

If it's a port day your chances of good connections are better, not as many on line.

Some programs may be blocked to prevent to control band usage. Check with the internet manager when you board.

I haven’t thought about that.  Thanks.  I’ve never used the internet service before on any ship if you can believe that.  We always try to shut out the world!

I think it depends more on the area your sailing in then the ship you are on with Medallion net.  We were on the Regal in the Caribbean and I had no problem making video calls or streaming video.  Friends told me they had problems on the Regal on a TA and the internet was almost useless.

Thanks.  It is a Western Caribbean on Sky, and that day we are in Cozumel.  It is in December so I am not sure the port will stay as scheduled since everything seems up in the air.  I am optimistic hearing that you had no problem in the Caribbean.  I hope the newer ship will help too.

From a recent stock analysts conference call with RCL:

"A new product is cruising from a home port in Barbados, starting in November of 2021, with a mix of seven and 14 night cruises into the Southern Caribbean and focused into the North American, American, Canadian and the UK market. It has exceeded our expectations quite significantly. We sold 25% of our load factor within a couple of weeks."

Unfortunately I have princess and carnival cruise credits I have to use!  But this is good to see.
