  1. Thanks Eddy, Kathy N (my wifey) is Green also. However, several weeks ago the Medallion order I placed for her, simply disappeared from the Ocean Ready App. I called Princess and they placed a new order for me.
  2. Hi CalLuvsCrusing, My wife and I live in Redding, North of you by about 2:50 hours. We also use BofA and pre-order foreign currency from them (in this case Euros). That can be done online or on your BofA phone APP. If you order a 1,000 or more, with local bank pickup, you are not charged a fee. We ordered mixed bills, however the bills are mostly large, like hundreds. In the future, I will order small denomination currency. I have heard that in some cases, banks build fees into the exchange rate thought. We are on the 11 Day | Grand Western Mediterranean Ship: Enchanted Princess Barcelona, Spain Departure Date: Oct 21, 2023, but will be staying in the Hotel Claris for two nights before departure on the Enchanted. Maybe we will bump into you on the boat?
  3. !0 Kil's OMG, that's a lot of coffee. Did customs or TSA give you a hard time? After reading your post, I looked around and found this USDA FAQ, which I find both interesting and helpful for my future travels. Can I bring green or roasted coffee beans into the United States from another country? (usda.gov)
  4. Funny you mention that. We have friends that drinks heavily, but we do not. My wife and I couldn't possibly consume 15 drinks between us and still find our way back to the room. Maybe 6 between us, over the course of the entire day, LOL
  5. My wife and I will be taking our third Princess cruise soon. "Grand Western Mediterranean – Enchanted Princess ® sets sail on Saturday, October 21, 2023" We have the Princess Plus drink package and I do not see an answer to this question in the forums. Lets say my wife and I are lounging at the pool, or in a hot tub. We decide to order a few drinks (Margarita and a Draft Beer usually) and maybe something to eat. My wife's phone with the princess APP, is in the cabin, but I have mine with me to place the order. #1) Am I able to use the APP to place a delivery order for food and drinks for both of us, as long as we both have our Medallions with us? #2) Same scenario, but if I walk up to a bar by myself (using my Medalion) to get a drink for my wife and I (2 drinks) while she is at the pool or hot tub?   10. Eddy, I do not have a check-in option on my Medalion App. I drilled down all of the green check marked links as shown in this attached screenshot, and I see nothing resembling boarding times. Am I not looking in the correct place?

  12. I'll be Saling on the Enchanted on Oct 21, 2023, from Barcelona, Spain. The online (computer version of the Travel Itinerary shows Check-in: 12:00 to 5:00. Are the priority boarding members supposed to arrive at 12:00? My wife and I are Mini STE Reserve Collection customers. The only reason I ask, is we want to head straight up to the Sanctuary and try to reserve some seating for 3 or 4 days before they are sold out. Thank You
  13. JRG, I agree. Lavaaza is first class coffee. Lavazza super crema espresso whole bean is one of my all time, top five coffee beans. Currently, I a, running Saigon #2, Dark Espresso thru my ECM Mechanica V Slim Espresso Machine. On October 21st, my wife and I are on the Enchanted, starting a trip from Barcelona. As others have mentioned, I sure hope the International Cafe is using Lavazza whole beans to pull shots on the espresso machines?
  14. We book trips very early and select the Reserve Collection (AKA Club Class) mini suites. Getting on and off the ship quickly, the dedicated wait staff in separate dining room (Capri on the Regal and Enchanted), and the rooms have partially shaded decks via the skywalk. It's an expensive upgrade, but worth it for my wife and I. We are in our mid-sixties and retired.

  16. Oxo, Excellent point. My Princess Cruise Itinerary describes: Terminal D & Terminal E. I was fooling around on the Barcelona Cruise Terminal website and found a schedule using the following link: www.barcelonacruiseterminal.com/schedule. Pretty cool, eh? After advancing the Calander to October 21st, 23, I see that the Enchanted is scheduled to be at the E-HELIX Terminal.

Hello, On October 21st, my wife and I will be boarding the Enchanted Princess at Helix Terminal in Barcelona as Mini Suite Club Class, Reserve Collection customers. and cruise tickets allow for priority embarkation. Is anyone familiar with the Helix Terminal in Barcelona and the boarding process with Princess? Where specifically do we go, at what time may we arrive, do we simply show our tickets to the Terminal Staff, and they will point us to the correct location? Its my understanding the Helix Terminal has three floors. Which floor will we need to go to, or will someone tell us? The reason I ask, is our first cruise out of Brookland NY, we DID NOT have priority boarding Club Class tickets. After waiting in a long line to get into the terminal, we then waited for several hours in the terminal with thousands of other people until our group number was announced. No food or water was available in that terminal, but they did have restrooms, thank goodness. On our second cruise to the Bahamas out of Ft. Lauderdale, we had purchased Mini Suite Club Class tickets and arrived pretty early. A very friendly worker walked straight up to us, scanned our Medallions and then personally walked us straight onto the ship with zero waiting. As I recall, the area where we boarded the ship used a different gangway. That was very nice because we're in our mid-sixties and rooms full of thousands of people are claustrophobic for my wife which suffers from anxiety in super crowded areas. That is one of the many reasons why we upgrade to club class tickets now. BTW, this is our 3rd Princess Cruise. Thank you in advance. Mark and Kathy Nicholson Redding California

See below I am not sure of the actual cost of the packages, because under Onboard Services on my booking (from my computer), it shows that they were compliments of my travel agent (I removed the name). So I am not sure which price point they are, since it looks like I didn't pay for them directly? The cruise length is 11 days, but dividing the Plus Beverage Package of $753.61 by 11 days is $68.61. Interestingly, the WiFi package of $109.67 divided ny 11 is $9.97 per day rather than $9.99. Crew Appreciation shows $170.50 divided by 11 is $15.50 per day. I thought the cost was 17 USD (mini suites and club class cabins) per day? I guess I should ask my TA?   20. UPDATE, I called the Princess customer support number and explained the problem which they seemed to completely understand. However, a short time later I was disconnected....possibly my fault. 5 minutes later, I received an email confirming a Medallion order (delivery) for my wife had been placed. A quick check on the Ocean Ready APP, and both of as are now Green again.
  21. Hello, this is me and my wife's 3rd Princess cruise. We are not sure how the new pricing has affected our packages. We are hoping someone could help us understand the changes with respect to food and drink delivery (not room service delivery)? Our next cruise is: 11 Day | Grand Western Mediterranean Ship: Enchanted Princess Barcelona, Spain Departure Date: Oct 21, 2023 We have paid for: Mini Suite M1, Reserve Collection (AKA: Club Class) room. Princess Plus Beverage package, Including Service charges. WIFI Package Crew Appreciation Included (suites) The only time we order anything to be delivered is when we are in a lounge chair near the pool, or in a hot tub. Those orders are specifically, some kind of booze, other beverage and maybe a hamburger or nacho's or something snack like on the menu. The email details, "You currently have a package that doesn't include these new benefits. But you can upgrade your package...." Does this mean I need to pay for 2 quantity OceanNow delivery at $14.00 each, = $28.00 total for the entire cruise? This illustration in the email shows a green checkmark next to the line items: NEW OceanNow Delivery & NEW Room Service Delivery. Or does this mean they are already part of my existing package? I am just not understanding this email?
