  1. I never purchase air through through the cruise line. Other than perhaps a cheaper fare and an inconvenient travel schedule, it doesn't have any value. If I have to fly (I live in Florida, so frequently don't), I've always booked air to arrive the day before. I also get insurance.
  2. I'll be on the Escape in December - first post-covid cruise! Since we haven't cruised in such a long time, I went all out and booked a Haven suite.
  3. I unexpectedly found one on my account also when I booked by December 2023 cruise on Escape. Saved me almost $700 and I also used two $250 CruiseNext certificates I had!

  5. Thanks for the info. I read the mis-information on another post in this forum.
  6. It is my understanding that Haven staff do not receive any funds from the auto-gratuity. If you are staying in the Haven and have no intention of using the ships other facilities (other than the specialty restaurants and bars, which are assessed tips separately), would you have the auto-tip removed and just use it to tip Haven staff? My last cruise (which was pre-covid) I stayed in the Haven and paid the auto-gratuity and tipped the Haven staff (butler, concierge, bartenders, room steward).
  7. Hubby and I went on a 7-day cruise and we tipped the butler $200 and $100 each to the concierge and room steward.
