  1. Thank you everyone for your input. Would anyone know where I could find a sample menu of the MDRs?
  2. Are there differences (e.g menu, service, etc.) in Breakaway's three main dining rooms (Savor, Taste, and Manhattan Room)? Please tell me which one is your favorite and why. Thank you.
  3. Is it a good idea to have Euros in the European ports for market purchases in the different ports? Can you exchange US dollars for Euros on the ship or is it best to do it elsewhere?
  4. Hey Joe.... How is everything with you and Melitta? That's great that all of you are cruising together again. We would love to do the Prima, but Barbara hates the Bermuda cruses. She likes a lot of sea days and waking up each day in a different port. We decided to try the Transatlantic....pretty good price (lots of sea days and we do have one day in Bermuda. Barbara has never been to Europe and I have only gone to Europe twice on a business trip. It's a 16 day cruise leaving from NYC. Only bad thing is we have to fly back from Rome. I'll send you an email this week. Regards to all the amigos and amigas! Don
  5. The last time I cruised on NCL, I was allowed to smoke a cigar on ships with Spice H2O on the starboard side near the bar. Has that changed?
  6. That's disappointing to hear. On my previous cruises on the Breakaway, they used to allow cigar smoking on the starboard side of Spice H2O near the bar. It was a nice place to end the night.
  7. Going on a 16 Day Breakaway Transatlantic Cruise in April.....how is the entertainment onboard besides the main shows?
  8. It has been about 5 years since I cruised on the Breakaway. I always enjoyed a good cigar at the end of the night. What areas are there on the ship for my late night cigar? And does the Vibe have a smoking section?
  9. Going on a Transatlantic cruise in April on the Breakaway. We love dining outside in the Waterfront restaurants. Does the weather usually make this possible during that month while crossing the Atlantic?
  10. What perks does the Club Balcony Suite category come with (e.g. robe, slippers, coffee maker, etc.)?
  11. Does anyone have a video or knows where to find a video of a Balcony Club Suite Cabin (without bathtub) on the Breakaway?
  12. I was disappointed to see that" Margaritaville" was removed from the Breakaway and replaced with the "American Diner." (loved the margaritas there and some of their specialties!) Has anyone tried the food there and is it worth the a la carte price? I guess I would be surprised if the answer was "YES". (don't want to waste my OBC) Don
  13. Is it true that venues such as bars and the casino close earlier than most "regular" cruises on Transatlantic cruises when crossing the Atlantic? Don๐Ÿ˜Ž
  14. Thank you Sarah....that's good to know. Don๐Ÿ˜Ž
  15. I enjoy starting my day on a cruise exercising in the ship's pool. I believe the Breakaway pool is heated, but wondering if on my Transatlantic cruise in April we will encounter rough seas and they close the pools most days. Has anyone cruised in April on a Transatlantic cruise and used the pool? does crossing the Atlantic in April encounter rougher seas than heading for the Caribbean in the winter from NYC? Don๐Ÿ˜Ž
  16. I thought I read in one of the posts that the Breakaway Club Balcony Suite category has the largest balconies on Deck 8. Is this true or are there certain cabins that have large balconies? Don
  17. Planning on taking the Transatlantic cruise on the Breakaway this April. What side (port or starboard) would provide the most sun with a side balcony cabin? Thanks. Don๐Ÿ˜Ž
  18. Has anyone ever booked a "Sailaway Balcony Suite" where you don't find out the location until right before sailing. We are looking at a Breakaway Transatlantic sailing in April and wondering how this usually works out for people booking this cabin category. Thanks for any information you could provide. Don
