  1. This happened to me when I moved to Australia. Either be prepared to send several emails or be prepared for a long wait. I think mine took several months and was only sorted when Cunard realised I was just about to sail on my booked cruise. i don't understand why Cunard doesn't have a unified system for all users.

  2. Just an update on Cunard's response to my emails....

Late January I received several emails acknowledging the issue and assuring me my UK and Australian WC accounts would be merged.

After hearing nothing I sent another email on 5 Feb with no response.

Today I got an email about our cruise leaving 21 March and we are still listed as first time cruisers!!

  3. We've just moved back to Australia and discovered that our Cunard UK number is not valid in Australia. Not wanting to lose our benefits we have made numerous phone calls and sent email but are finding it an uphill battle. Has anyone else dealt with this problem and is there a solution.

You might try this website: https://coronavirus.health.ny.gov/find-test-site-near-you

The problem with PCR tests is that they can take time to get the results unless you pay for the expensive rapid one.  I use Sameday-Health here in Maryland but they have offices in New York City. https://www.sameday-testing.com/#booking

Thank you for the suggestions. Sameday testing have a branch in White Plains, not far from where we are staying and open on 26th! That takes some of the stress out of our trip and we can go back to the excitement of boarding Mary next Monday.

  5. We are really excited to be travelling QM2 on 13 December - such a lovely ship! And on reaching New York we will be spending Christmas with our children and grandchildren who we haven't seen since 2019.

But now the change in rules for return to the UK has made us rethink our plans. We are booked to return on BA on 27 December and will have to get a PCR test on 26 December. Does anyone have suggestions for testing in the New York area on a Sunday and the day after Christmas?

  6. I had a similar problem and have just spoken to Cunard here in the UK. I was told it was an IT problem that was being worked on. To get through check in I used a different card. I was then told to delete that card and wait until completing the final details 3 days before embarkation to add my card or add the card at the counter during embarkation. Hope this helps

  7. I feel sorry for all of you who have had your cruises on QM2 but at least you now know what is happening. We are booked on the Dec 15 sailing and I have so many questions?  As UK citizens we are not yet allowed in to the US - does Cunard know something we don't? Will we be tested on arrival in the US before disembarking as is currently required? What will we do for 2 days on board in NY? I'm not sure I want to go on an excursion where I am stuck on a bus. And finally who thinks this sailing will also be cancelled?
