  1. Don't know how true this is, but I noticed several people on other threads say FTTF appears to become available on Tuesdays. I had been checking daily since last Thursday and nothing. Then today...voila! It was there and only ONE left. I snagged it faster than D.C. could put up another speed camera! May be coincidence...maybe not....

  2. I think you are mistaken. I received the $100 OBC for the sale and I am a veteran and not active duty or retired. I did have to produce a copy of my Discharge papers and my DD214 document when I first applied for the Military discount. I have had the Military rate on several past cruises and also the OBC.

We booked under the same promotion and received the military rate as well as $100 OBC for each of our 3 cabins. DH is a disabled veteran, not active duty or retired either.

  3. Just have to say thanks for all the positive replies and kind of amused at the main "negative" cruiser who I hope is not on my cruise!!

As others have said, arrive when you need to. We too received a similar letter prior to our last cruise, but we were booked in a suite...which gets priority boarding! So, I guess count us among the "rule-breakers" who chose to take advantage of one of the perks of booking a suite rather than arrive as the letter suggested.

  4. best would be a stretch limo with a stocked bar! :d

most economical is another thing - i would look at two one way rental cars (you might need vans/suvs if any in your group packs like my wife! :o), or reach out to cocoa beach shuttle, coretrans or travelynx for shuttle service. The trip from mco to pc takes just under an hour.

    :d:d:d

  5. FTTF is a personal opinion thing. Just because you see it as a waste, doesn't mean everyone does. Obviously.

The elevators are for whoever wants to use them. There isn't a ship in the fleet that says they are only for those with mobility issues. If I wanna use the elevator, I will.

Ship's water is not always tasty.

Totally agree but some of the other stuff. Not all of it. I wonder if any newbies will see this ;)

Thanks! Still can't understand why some feel they have an exclusive "right" to the elevators. I have a disability not obvious to the naked eye, but I'd never begrudge those who don't and wish to take the elevators. I guess if I'm with my non-disabled daughter we should separate and she take stairs while I take elevator.

  6. Yeah, I have something to look forward to!!

I am getting closer to picking my cruise for next fall. Here is what I have it narrowed down to and I would LOVE any input from those that have sailed on these ships and/or itineraries!

Option #1: 7 day Eastern from Miami on the Liberty on October 1. Stops at Half Moon Cay, St. Thomas, San Juan Puerto Rico and Grand Turk.

Option #2: 8 day Eastern from Ft. Lauderdale on the Freedom. Stops in San Juan Puerto Rico, St. Thomas, Antiqua, Tortola and Nassau. Either the October 8 or November 5 sailing.

Option #3: 7 day Eastern from Miami on the Glory on November 6. Stops at Half Moon Cay, St Thomas, San Juan Puerto Rico and Grand Turk.

Thoughts, comments, suggestions and opinions are welcome!

Hi. We'll be on the Glory in May, but different itinerary (the same as your Legend trip), but will post pics and a review of our trip so you can get an idea of the ship when we return. Your review was one of the BEST I've seen! I was :D often while reading it. And I agree with others...you look great as Snow White.
