After researching the choices, we decided to stay where in our original cabin. We're in a prime verandah cabin on the "hump", deck 9. We were too wary to try for a decent sunset cabin. Maybe next cruise we'll select whatever we want when booking.
Thanks for the input. We did a Concierge stateroom on the Summit 2 years ago. From what I've read, we wouldn't get the extra points for this cruise because we didn't originally book that category.
Wife and I are sailing to Bermuda in June. We currently have a mid-ship balcony. We were thinking about bidding on a concierge or standard sunset balcony. Are they worth moving-up? We realize that we wouldn't have a choice in selecting the deck or cabin; my question is: are there any "bad" sunset cabins?
Wife and I are sailing to the ABC islands in April of 2025 from Fort Lauderdale. We'll require air from Philly to Fort Lauderdale the day before we sail. My wife has some mobility issues, so we want to fly first class. I've searched their website but can't find any information because our cruise is too far out. Has anyone used their air and requested first class? We don't fly too often so not sure if it's worth booking air with Celebrity of privately. Thanks for any input.
Leaving this Sunday on the Escape and would appreciate any information regarding the boarding process. I'm traveling with two people that have some mobility issues. Can someone tell me which deck do you enter the ship? I'm trying to decide whether to request wheelchair access. If the ramps aren't too steep, it won't be a problem? Help! Thanks.
Sailing on the Escape this September and was wondering how difficult it is to walk from the gangway onto the ship. My wife and BIL have some difficulty walking up stairs or ramps. Can someone tell me what deck you enter the ship and if the ramps are real steep? Thanks for any help.
Traveling on the Escape in September with my sister and BIL. My sister loves the slots and was wondering if you can use cash instead of the credit. Thanks for any help.
Sailing the Escape in September and wondering if you can drop-off your carry-on bag in your cabin or must you drag it with you until your cabin is ready?
My wife and I are trying to book shore excursions for our Canada/ New England cruise this September on the Escape, but NCL still isn't showing any available. I saw several months ago that the town of Portland might not allow cruise ships. Does anyone have any updates on this?
Travelling to Bermuda on the Eclipse in June 2024. Always enjoyed the evening deck parties. Are they currently being offered on any of the Celebrity ships?
This will be our first cruise to Bermuda and would like to visit Horseshoe Bay. We would like to go early if possible. Are there taxis available at the pier for transport to the beach and the cost if known. Also, can you grab a cab at any time to return to the ship? Thanks for any help!

I applied for the Bermuda Authorization travel on July 4th and paid the $40.00 (X2) fee. We uploaded our Covid Vax records too. Our cruise embarkation is July 31st. We received a receipt for the application and fees already but was wondering when we'll get the email validation. Can anyone that's done this tell us how long it took for Bermuda authorities to respond? Thanks for any help.
Thank you for your help. We don't send a lot of time in our cabin, but wondered if the crew is moving things around early in the morning. I'm an "early riser", but my wife likes to sleep in a litttle longer.
Thanks for the input! Not too concerned, but generally try to avoid being under any decks that have a lot of activity. I'm just happy to be sailing with Celebrity again!
My wife and I are sailing the Summit to Bermuda on July 31. We currently have a bid on Move Up for an Aqua Class cabin, but are wondering if anyone has gotten a cabin on deck 9 under the pool area? We're concerned about noise from the pool Deck 10. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
