I sincerely hope that you are now 4 hours ahead of east coast US time or else you are going in the wrong direction! 😉
We are indeed 4 hours ahead of East Coast US time. Ponta Delgada is tomorrow.

Our cabin steward, Aris, just told us that we will be moving clocks ahead one hour again tonight.

We ate in Canaletto for night 3 and the special on the menu was the scallops. Delicious and cooked to perfection. DH had the spaghetti and clams which he liked as well. Last night we ate in Pinnacle Grill. I had the lamb chops. They were huge and oh so tender. DH had the Ribeye steak which was just as tender. I am a little disappointed in the Dive-In chicken sandwich. I had that today and it was very tough and I could not finish it. The milkshakes were a bit too thin but before anyone asks...they were included with our EBP.

Not wanting to steal your thread @Ready2go11 but just a few observations so far. The cabins are smaller than other cruise ships that I have been on but balconies and bathrooms are significantly larger. We ate in the MDR on night 2 and waited in line for 35 minutes for a table. That was probably our fault for waiting until 645pm to go to anytime dinner. Food was good. I had the red snapper and DH had the steak. We really enjoyed both dishes.

How windy does it feel on deck
I too am on this sailing and to answer the question, in the Lido pool area because it has a retractable roof, it is very comfortable with zero wind and a pleasant temperature considering this morning was 69 degrees outside. Our balcony is on the port side and this afternoon as I began to read out there, I had to quickly get my jacket on as it was rather chilly but still no wind.

I will post some. I haven't gotten into venues early enough to get pics without people but I have some from previous cruises. Nothing has changed.
Thank you. No rush.

Sorry for the confusion. We are on the Oosterdam on Friday. Our boarding pass says boarding starts at noon.

My last cruise in February everyone was assigned noon. I guess they are trying something new
Thanks for the info.

Don't they give out group numbers? I haven't sailed them in many years but have a sailing this Friday.

Thank you for these words of wisdom and experience. We travel to Lisbon in May and after reading this, we will be on high alert when walking around town.

We will be on this ship next year so are interested in your interior spaces photos. We have never been on Rotterdam before. Definitely hope things improve for you...and very soon.

Why?
Does HAL charge extra for snacks?
After what I paid for my upcoming cruise, I would be really upset if I thought that I had to supply my own snacks 😒
The snacks (granola bars, chocolate) are for shore excursions, etc. If DH gets low sugar, they come in handy.

I have put snacks like granola bars, nuts, candy in my checked bags to bring on board and have never had an issue. I think your luggage would be held longer if you had fresh fruits or vegetables that are not supposed to be brought on board.
Thank you @Ready2go11.

Beautiful "food porn". Makes me hungry.

If I put my snacks (granola bars) in a bag that I am checking (not carry on), will there be a problem? I don't have room in my carry on and I don't want my luggage to get sent to the naughty room.

Celebrity has been my all time favorite cruise line for many years all the way back to the Century but my last sailing was on the Constellation on a TA October 2022 and I did notice it not up to "Celebrity" standards. With that said, we are on a TA next month on Oosterdam and I am looking forward to this sailing. I have sailed HAL only twice but many years ago.

SO......a question for the ladies....
When sending your laundry in the HAL bag, do you put your bra in loose or do you bring a lingerie bag for your bra? Just wondering if I should bring a lingerie bag to keep my bras from getting too twisted or snagged on other items or do the laundry staff automatically put bras in a lingerie bag when washing?
Since I don't put my bras in the dryer (hang dry only) I wouldn't send them out to laundry. That being said, if Mrs. FlaMariner sends hers out then it should be safe without a lingerie bag.

We are having this same issue for a cruise in 2025. TA said it should automatically be applied but it is not. Waiting for the results.

I believe that the Crow's Nest is hosting a "Pub Crawl" on Orange Party Night and I think (can't remember) but a sake tasting also.
