So you may not board till 7.30 - 8 pm which means you will probably have to do muster the following morning. As for dinner on the first night who knows

I checked and they have muster drills that next day as well ... I just wanted to make sure they'd actually let us on that late... seeing the ship doesnt depart until the next night.

I don't care who the president or CEO or whatever is at Celebrity.  What I care about is my experience on the ships.  So far, it has been mostly excellent.  I've not cruised since January.  Last year my cruises were in the PH and royal suites.  This year they are in balcony cabins.  Suite pricing is insane, especially as a solo.  More power to Celebrity if they can get it, but I notice that there is still a PH available on my Thanksgiving cruise on the Solstice.  That would have been absolutely unheard of in previous years.

So, I will see how it goes in November.  I've been mostly loyal to Celebrity and am Zenith with them.  But now I am definitely considering other alternatives.

this is VERY TELLING! I know you are very loyal to Celebrity! I met you with my mom in Oct a few years back in the Retreat. Hope all is well! Aimee

  3. My cousin literally DRAGGED my on a VIRGIN Cruise last April and now I'm hooked!

Ive always been loyal to Celebrity (Elite Plus)... but with all the nickel and diming and losing interest in them BIG TIME. And the LONG hold times to talk to someone is REALLY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Virgin MATCHED my status on Celebrity and I got so many perks for it!

No additional cost for the best wifi, tips included, no up charges for any of the restaurants.. and I'm a huge foodie and VIRGIN food is like eating in EDEN daily! It's amazing! Even little charcuterie plates you can just grab and go and have on your balcony or wherever! Also, room service delivers to ANYWHERE you are on the ship! Finally, their Beach Club at Bimini was beyond my expectations! I felt like I was in the South of France or Ibiza! And benefit of NO KIDS (sorry parents)

I NEVER expected to be such a VIRGIN Fan. I still have 4 upcoming Celebrity cruises, but now I have 3 VIRGIN as well. We'll see how they balance out in years to come...

With what Virgin Voyages is doing they are going to have to be much more flexible on many things or begin losing passengers.  Virgin lets you change 3 days before sailing.

I took a VIRGIN cruise with my cousin last April and had to be dragged on kicking and screaming b/c I love CELEBRITY so much.. well, I left VIRGIN LOVING IT!!! And they honored my ELITE PLUS status I have with CELEBRITY. The food was like eating in EDEN every night!  Can't wait to go again!

For anyone who's been on a B2B since the testing was mostly eliminated .

Has there been any testing between cruises?  If so, was it due to cases onboard or is it still standard procedure ?

The website doesn't mention it, but I don't trust the  Celebrity site's info  to be accurate or complete.

I was just on a b2b on the Summit 2 weeks ago and no testing required... I know on the website it said if the cases were above a certain percentage.

I'm on Beyond on the Dec 4 and 11 cruises b2b and hoping for an easy turn day like I had on the Summit.

When I asked the Retreat Concierge on Summit at our turn about testing he said not as many cases are reported now as people dont carry covid tests with them... or if they have it its more like a cold so they dont think its covid and report it to the ships dr.....

I am on Oasis now which is using starlink but mast be capping speed which is under 9 mps.

I have complained regularly with some inane  responses being they are not using starlink, which they are since the Speedtest shows starlink, to there is a glitch they cannot solve.

today the guy there admitted something is wrong but shrugged shoulders.

the system also blocks receipts and sending e mails

    rather disappointing

wow! good to watch out for!  enjoy your cruise!

  7. Boarding BEYOND on a B2B on Dec 4... I might have missed this but if I have a premium wifi package now with Starlink up to how many devices can I have on it at once? I'm used to only 1 device and having to switch all the time....

I have to do a bit of work when on there so hoping I can have it ON on my laptop AND cell ....

We are on Beyond in 2 weeks and I looked into this.   Some claim the Edge class ships have casting built into the cabin TV.   So you can cast directly from Chrome browser.   I hope so.

    More in this thread.

    thank you!
