    Does it make things faster?

For you and your family? Very minimal.

For the cruise line trying to board 3000 to 6000 people? I'm sure it will be huge once they get the tech adverse to buy in.

I would venture a guess that this new boarding and document procedure was the result of either a LEAN project or a Six Sigma project.

Not so much as people being tech adverse, but people are getting real tire of having to have another app just to do something. Also so many apps end up leaking data that should not be leaked.

I would not trust or believe one word from John Heald's facebook page.  A week out of our April 30th, 5 day cruise on the Breeze John said the ship would be back from dry dock from Spain on time.  3 days before the cruise we received a latter from Carnival that the Breeze was going to be late and is now a 4 day cruise.  Just saying..

So many hang onto every word he ever utters.

Maybe you all need to think back to the weather patterns in the US (and the Gulf of Mexico) in February, March and April.

If it can cause flight delays and cancellations  throughout the country, it can also affect ships navigating the through the high winds and waves that the systems caused in the Gulf.

Dream makes it back on time every time, Vista, rarely does.

Here's my guess. It's only that.

The inshore winds on Thursday night were gusting to 37 mph. Combine that with a fast moving line of rain that battered the gulf offshore for about 90 miles out and that might have been the cause.

    .

On our 3-26 cruise on the Vista it docked late, read several reports where the Vista is docking late the last several months.

😄 That ended up being my (and my wife's) go to drink in Havana. Need to pick up some Bacardi Razz and try to replicate at home now.

It really needs that 8 year rum. Tried with a 4 year rum and didn't have to same taste. Also recommend you look on you tube for "Super Lime Juice" we tried with just regular lime juice and it didn't have to tartness as on the ship, the super lime juice does.

At age 35 I would say yes, But I am 55 now so I say no. My days of drinking 10 a day or even 5 or 6 on a consistent basis are in the rearview mirror! Father time has won 🤣

Few years older than you, while it does take longer to recover as you get older, I can still put down 8-10 alcoholic beverages on a cruise. Oddly I rarely drink at home though.

We have not been getting any great $25 cruise deals and all RU9 offers we've had were no deal at all.  In every case it was cheaper to book the cheapest fare code available and add Cheers separately.  😞

All the deals that hit my inbox or on the app are for the Conquest for 3 day booze. Not driving 18 hours for a booze cruise.
