Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. I am on the British Isles Cruise with a London extension this summer. Does any one have any experience with the timing of the transfer from ship to hotel? I called Viking and they said they would have us to the hotel “on time”, whatever that means. She said that although we would need to be out of our cabins earlier in the morning, we would wait on the ship for them to call us to the tender to disembark and then take us to the hotel. I want to book tickets to tour Westminster Abbey which is only a 4 minute walk from our hotel but don’t know what time to book them for. What time did you get to your hotel?
  2. Will try but airlines have messed with our flights and we r arriving rather late the night before. So unless it’s on the tour…🤷🏻‍♀️
  3. Thank you. I figured that’s what would happen but wasn’t sure. I tend to over agonize about these things.
  4. I posted this in the “Alaska” port area but it was suggested I try here. We r on the Royal Caribbean land/sea tour. The land tour starts in Fairbanks and the cruise on Radiance of the Seas starts in Seward. My understanding is Royal Caribbean is enforcing their check-in times. Since RC is providing the transportation to Seward, I had no idea what time they would get us there. So I called RC and they said it’s a 3 hr drive and we r supposed to leave around noon so make check-in at about 3 hrs later. But he didn’t sound too confident. Has anyone had experience with the land-sea tour transition recently and can speak to how they handle boarding from their own land tour?
