Day 8 Rome on my own! If you can I highly recommend staying an extra day to explore Rome. It is a beautiful city!

Day 8 I am staying at the airport hotel because I don’t want to deal with the shuttle the next morning. I took the express train back to Rome to explore today $14.00 each way! Taxi 50 Euro each way. I am going to hit all the stops I can today!

Day 8 I did not take NCL transfer to airport $75.00. I took the shuttle bus to the train 3 Euro then bought a train ticket to the airport for 11 Euro. Beware of the guys offer to help with your luggage… they will come for your luggage and I just tell them NO and slap their hand when they touch my stuff. They will want a TIP!

Day 7 Did not get back to the ship till about 7PM and still had to pack up all the stuff for disembarkation. This was a rough schedule!

Day 7 Florence The panini craze is alive and well here… I would not stand in line for paninis but to each is their own! I have a guy lol that makes the best sandwich in town!

Day 7 Lunch at my favorite spot in town … had it last year when I was here… still amazing!

Day 7 Florence … after I got the secret handshake from the guide off on my own …have about 4 hours of free time to do what I want

Day 7 Florence… they make you stop at the leather factory because they have an agreement with the shop to let you use the bathroom for free but you can get out of it if you want but just make sure you know the meeting time and place otherwise it is $300 taxi fare to go back to the cruise port!
