The cruise line we travel on usually 3X a year only extra charge if ordering pizzas. $3 for specialty pizza.

Since cruising has re-started there are many new charges for things that had always been free before 

Billboard on Board is the Sing along that is as close to Karaoke as it gets on Holland.  It is held 6 of the 7 nights on a 7 day cruise.  No individual singing but it is a lot of fun. Our nightly entertainment every cruise. 

This is our favorite Hotel in Ft Lauderdale.  We’ve rented a car most times. There is a fee to park per day. Lyft and Uber work really well in Ft Lauderdale.  Great pool and Pool bar.  Employees are very friendly and good at what the do.  There is a great deli about 8 blocks away.  It is on a busy highway but walking is very safe way to get around the area. Lots of restaurants and stores including a total wine and Publix

Always take a stack of $1’s for tips.  If you are writing a thank you note, it would be a good idea to mention the persons name when you do a review that you get from Carnival or leave it with guest services, so it would get to their Boss

Covid in, some variation, is never going away.  As a 67yo vaccinated person, I am going to live my life the way I chose.  We all know what the risks are in life. Chose whatever you are comfortable with. Wear a mask or don’t.  Go on a cruise or don’t.  It’s up to you 

Also everyone must be present to get a tender ticket. ie one person can’t get 4 tender tickets

When did the Alchemy Bar switch to Luxardo.  I’ve only seen them use Filthy Cherries.

Sorry about that, sometimes my old brain just doesn’t catch the intended comic relief.  I have been on cruises with  people have done this but gone back to their cabin to get a refill. We spend have our time in elevators and hallways if we did that.  May be that’s why I didn’t get the joke😂

If a couple of bottles will  cover all four of you.  You will definitely save money buy buying the bottles instead of the package.  If you buy 2 bottles you are going to get , 25-33 drinks per bottle depending if the bottles are 750ml or 1L, if you pour 1 ounce shots.  The Break even point for the package is 6-7 drinks per person per day. Tips are not as customary in Europe as in in the states

I believe the pool is usually opened.  Don’t remember seeing the water work has been open on Embarkation day 

The hash browns on the breakfast buffet are in my opinion uneatable .  And I think I’m the only person that actually likes the Powdered eggs😂

Horizon hands down.  The sit down guys is a bar b que restaurant that was excellent.  There is still the guys burger. Best selection of Bourbons and Whiskey’s I’ve ever seen on a ship. 

Been on the Glory 5 times.  Always been one if our favorites

Both Navigator and Holland Website show Key West. The departure time was changed to 4:30pm

We’ve found this is SOP when playing trivia on every cruise line.  These games have a time limit so this keeps someone from arguing with the emcee. When we cruise we play trivia for fun and we do win sometimes.  However, we have played against several excellent teams, that have won every time they played. It would get so annoying the way the acted when they won that we stopped going because it was no longer fun.
