Good morning, We fly tomorrow morning to Seattle and depart Sunday aboard the Encore for Alaska. I cannot BELIEVE it is here! I have two quick last minute questions. - My 16 year-old son is workout obsessed. He wants to bring protein shakes with him - checked bags for the plane and then onto the ship. Shakes, not powder. Is this even possible? I know that you cannot bring bottled water onboard but what about shakes. What is available on the ship that would be comparable for his workouts? - ArriveCAN - I thought I was all set here. I have the app, have the accounts created, and have our vaccination cards / passports loaded. But the more I read, the more lost I feel. Am I supposed to be the day we get on the ship (Sunday 6/12) or the day we are in Vancouver (6/18)? Does my 72 hours start now or is it 72 hours prior to the 18th? Also, do I need to load my covid test results to the app? That is an entire other adventure that will happen this afternoon 🙂 Thank you!

Good morning, Our cruise leaves Seattle in 10 days for Alaska on the Encore. I've got my on-line check-in done, ArriveCan app downloaded / accounts created / documents loaded, eMed tests are received and accounts created for testing, dining booked, excursions booked, and Thermal Spa purchased. I've been reading up on how embarking works and what we should look to do when we first get onboard. I still have a few questions though and hope someone can help. - Other than printing our eDocs (we got our luggage tags in the mail), is there anything else I need to do with Norwegian in advance? We will be bringing vaccine cards, passports, and eDocs with us to board. - Once onboard, I want to book Choir of Man and other shows as well as purchase two speedway passes for the teenage boys. Where is the best place to do this? - I also wanted to inquire about the texting package. I think it is $10 per device, correct? Do you recommend this and where can I purchase? We have 250 minutes for one device and I was hoping to stick to that to entice the kids to enjoy the experience more but I still need to be able to get ahold of them. I've also read we should turn our phones to airplane mode and visit the spa for possible day 1 giveaways / raffles. What else am I missing? Any advice is very welcome. These message boards have been a life saver in our preparations. Thank you!

Thank you! We are so excited and eyeing up a Northern European cruise in 2024 if we love the trip. That would be disappointing! I was all set to do the check-in but technology tripped me up on the second reservation. I will wait and see. How long does it take to get the eDocuments after you complete the Check-In?

I was able to do online check-in yesterday - this is finally starting to feel real! We have two staterooms. I had no trouble completing check-in for one room and got 9:30-10 for my boarding window. I was getting errors for the second account from my phone and wasn't able to complete it until last night when I got home. The second room is 10:30-11. Can all four of us show up at 9:30 and board together? Thanks - it is my first time!
