  1. We cruised on the Allure August 30, 2014 and also had a sea pass that didn't work. It would not "ding" when boarding. They replaced it within ten minutes so I don't think we had the magnitude of sea pass errors that your cruise did. Also when we got to our cabin the new sea pass wouldn't work in the door - which called for a trip down to customer service. The card was replaced and worked for the remainder of the cruise.

Definitely a bad way to start a cruise. I'm not sure what their problem is but it's a shame they haven't resolved the issues.

  2. Can anyone tell me what the Wyndham offers ?

We were in Nassau this week staying at the Melia. The Wyndham guests had use of the Melia property because their pools were closed. I'm not sure what is going on at the Wyndham but it may have something to do with the Baha Mar construction project which is huge and right next door to the Wyndham.

The construction did not impact us while at the Melia.

  3. We had purchased our case of water in the shop in the terminal in years past but in February 2014 they did not have the cases. You could purchase single large bottles of water (you would have to pour the water into a glass).

There were a few cases sitting there and we picked one up and took it to the register but they would not sell it to us. They were opening those and using the singles outside for workers.

  4. I posted this under the thread "Dolphin Dive Adventures." We toured with them on February 6.

We had a great day with Dolphin Dive Adventures and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. We prebooked through the website but you can find them in the cruise ship terminal. We left after 10:30 and were back by 3:30. They were very aware of the time and have the schedule perfected. The boats are clean and functioning but not overly impressive. The guys were greats hosts and we were happy with the tour. The cost was $52 and a local lunch could be ordered for $15. We split a lunch and gave the guys another $5 to pick up a couple of Pitons beers for us to have with the meal. Drinks were free flowing and included after the snorkel stop at Anse Chastanet. They took pictures of us at the Pitons - beautiful, described the coastline as we saw it, and stopped at Marigot Bay (Dolittles Place). They had two boats out the day we were there. This is the second (smaller) boat, ours was a little bit larger.
