The itinerary for our Sirena cruise last summer read "Provence (Marseille)".

We are looking to book an owners suite on Marina. The 8th and 10th deck suites are available. Which is recommended?
I anxiously await the day when this is a decision I need to make

Guess this means I'll have to do multiple wine tastings at home before my next cruise.
Tough job, but someone's got to do it...

I always double-check with the front desk the afternoon that we board, just to be certain. So far there's never been a problem...

That is funny
It was Jeff that posted the recipe back then ;)
OMG you are kidding, I didn't even realize it. :D Great minds think alike...

Cointreau -- that was the piece I was forgetting.
Thank you for the link.

Hi Lyn,
We just went to make specialty restaurant reservations the very first morning they became available (we are in a B category room) -- and the ONLY available seating time, for EVERY night of the cruise, was 9pm. That was requesting a table for 2. Has that ever happened to you before?
I'm not sure if all of the available deuce-table reservations were already taken by concierge-and-above passengers...or if O is holding all deuce reservations back, except for 9pm, until embarkation day.

Does anyone know the recipe for a Big O martini? It's essentially a variation on a cosmo...but exactly what, I can't remember.
-
Does that mean no Prinsendam period? Or no Grand South America itinerary for Prinsendam?

I will take Oceania any day over a mass market line
Hear, hear!

...asked if a photocopy of a statement showing the 100 shares would be sufficient.
Yes, a photocopy of a recent brokerage statement is all they need. Just black-out any sensitive, personal information before faxing it.

I wonder if they were getting slammed by "too many" people trying to check-in all at once... They're trying to stagger the arrivals. Wonder if it will work?

Gee -- so glad we bought our stock many, many years ago when it was around $12 a share.
Lucky you -- I bought at $21 a share. That stock has paid for itself with the on-board credits over the years.
-
Remember, if you already have a SW flight booked, you can rebook it for no charge! You only get credits, still not bad, for one year to use.
Just to clarify: one year from the date the original booking was made.

But of the current fleet, I would have to say the Prinsendam is my favorite. She, too, was beautifully designed, with well thought out touches. The atmosphere on that ship lets you know that you are special, and everything will be taken care of for you.
I agree with Ruth. Although we only had the opportunity (so far) to sail on Prinsendam once, it has always remained our favorite.
PS - our cruise paths have not crossed, Ruth, since we met you on Ryndam but hope to sail with you again some day on another dam ship :)

Thank you!

...you really don’t want to cross Twelfth Avenue with a lot of luggage on a muggy summer day!
Or just as bad: a rainy day.
Note that there are cross-walks at the traffic lights so you could walk if you had to. I've walked to the port, in the rain unfortunately, but wouldn't want to do it again.

The inside of the CC is actually 165 sq ft plus the balcony /quote]
Hi Lyn :champagne-toast: What is a "CC" stateroom? (I'm sure I should know that but am having a slow morning...)

It's the June issue. Arrived this week for us.
We haven't received that one yet -- maybe today.

What's the cover photo on the "Your World Your Way" book that you're referring to? I may be looking at a different one than you are.

Wonder if I could get a spam and pineapple on sourdough?
Ask...then let us know. :)

The operative word there is “RUMOR”
There’s a separate thread about the RUMOR.
Roy
Ah, I understand. Thank you -- I have been away from CruiseCritic for a long time and was not aware of this other thread.
