They are charging me for the beverage and dining service charge. They claim that the gratuities are included as a perk from the cruise line.

In this case the TA is not paying them directly, instead indicating they are an included perk provided by the cruise line.

I see several cruise travel agents advertising free pre-paid gratuities for select Norwegian cruises. Has anyone taken advantage of this? Is this offer legitimate? I fear I will get on the cruise and they will want the gratuities.

I have seen an excursion in Cozumel where guests go to the beach to dig up sea turtle nests and save turtles too weak to make it to the ocean. I have only seen reference to Royal Caribbean and Carnival cruises. Does anyone know if this excursion is offered on Princess? Thanks.

I am on the Discovery Princess later this year and noticed they do not have a Vines. Can anyone tell me If there are other venues with good red wine. I am trying to decide if I want to stay with the premium package for wines in the $15 to $20 range.

Hello Steelers36. One example is 7 day Mexican Riviera Sat Dec 30, 2023 Discovery Princess from Los Angeles. Difference between Plus and Premier is $209 instead of $140.

Thanks Rick&Jeannie. Glad to hear that it is probably just an error. I thought I misunderstood something about the pricing.

I see several situations where it appears Princess is charging a higher price for Princess Premium than expected (80$/day). In the case pasted below, a 7 day cruise to Mexico, Princess Plus is the expected price of 60$/day over standard fare, but Princess Premium is 90 $/day over standard. Can anybody explain why this is the case?

To follow up on this old post, the itinerary has now been changed to 2 days in San Francisco and Monterey has been removed. I spoke to my CVP in May and was assured the itinerary would include Monterey. Fortunately, I have not paid for the cruise and will pass. V2G still shows the Monterey stop. I'm very disappointed in Princess. I understand that they reserve the right to change ports, but think that this is just the result of incompetence.

This fall the California cruises on the Princess website are again showing the Monterey stop. I assume that either the city council changed the rule or Princess decided to provide support at the port. Does anyone know for certain? Thanks.

If my wife and I have purchased the all included fare, and have the classic beverage package, what does it cost for one person in the cabin to upgrade to the premium package? I have seen 12$ per day and 18$ per day. Thanks
