Cool Cruiser

Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. This was exactly what I was looking for! So when you say “the room on the right”, you mean of the two connecting rooms, the one on the right will have the bed near the slider, correct? Just want to clarify it’s not the room to the right of the connecting rooms.
  2. I am currently booking my second Royal Caribbean cruise. This time on the oasis of the seas. I previously sailed on the harmony of the seas, and I remember somebody sharing with me on this site, a trick to figure out if your room balcony had the bed towards the balcony or the door. Does anybody remember how to figure that out?
  3. WackyWayne, That is EXACTLY what I had seen, only for the Harmony of the Seas and I know it was from a pretty recent sailing. Certainly, I would not expect that the schedule once onboard would be the same, but it is a very nice "tentative" planning document.
  4. A few weeks ago I stumbled upon a post in a thread that had an attachment of the venues and days of the sailing on the Harmony of the Seas 7 day Western Caribbean & Perfect Day cruise. It was basically a colorful chart of day, venue, and shows. So you could see, for instance, what shows/open skate/etc were in Studio B each day and at what time. I downloaded it to my laptop and someone in my family deleted it. Ugh! Now I can't find it anywhere. Anyone know what I'm talking about and would be able to share again? Keeping my fingers crossed as I was using it to help plan what shows and dinner times I want to reserve when we get onboard.
  5. Fear of service not working will definitely get me to bring paper back up and the suggestion of an alternate credit card is a very good idea. Thanks everyone!
  6. So often I read and see in vlogs to be sure to arrive at the port for departure with all your documents. I just received my boarding pass for my upcoming cruise and I don't really see a list so I'm wondering...what do they really mean by "all your documents"? Here is what I am thinking, but am I missing something? It is just my husband and myself and our names are all correct (matching) on all documents. Boarding Passes Passports Covid Vaccination Card Anything else?
  7. I'm looking at the shows on the Harmony of the Seas and see "A Royal Mystery (18+)". I understand that it is for adults only, but what actually is the show? Is it a comedian? Also, are you able to book the same show multiple times (okay, probably only twice) during the same week?
  8. Oh gosh, sorry I'm so late to respond! Life got away on me. I went back to go find what I had seen, and it was actually through the blog, I guess. Since I posted that, another person has put a new Cruise Compass on to view and this one seems to be easier to read, so I think I'm good. I guess I just need more patience. Here is the link to what I found. https://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/cruise-compasses/harmony-of-the-seas/sun-07172022-0000
  9. Does anyone have a copy of the Cruise Compasses for the Harmony for CocoDay, Nassau, Falmouth and Labadee sailing? I was only able to find one on the Royal website and it wasn't printable. I'd like to be able to print it. Or maybe if anyone knows another place I might be able to find them, that would be just as helpful. Thanks!
  10. Thanks everyone. This has me feeling pretty confident that we will have them. But heck, I'd take no furniture at all, as long as I have that view. 😎
  11. I have noticed in watching videos of cruisers on Harmony of the Seas staying in balcony cabins that some of them have little foot stools with the deck chairs on the balcony and some don't. If at all possible, I'd like to have them. If I don't, do you think this is something I could ask for?
  12. Definitely will read the policy through, I was curious on thoughts of additional insurance. Thank you!
  13. Super excited to have booked our first Royal Caribbean Cruise and we did purchase the insurance through them. I'm wondering if that is enough? Is it recommended to get additional insurance through a third party as well?
  14. For like the first two Carnival cruises, yes, we used a travel agent. My husband thinks we can handle it ourselves, I'm just nervous because we aren't familiar with the ways of Royal, I don't want to miss something...meal packages, Covid testing rules, etc, etc. Probably just excited nerves on my part, but I have also heard that you can sometimes get better deals through an agent...or that they can get you onboard credits if prices are found to be lower than what we book for. I'm all about an onboard credit! 🤩
