Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. If you go to the Holland website, click ship life, our ships, details for your ship, and then go to the bottom and click pdf for all decks. That pdf map will have the will show the quads/triples etc. Also, in our case, we've sailed in this cabin many time so we know it well.
  2. Update - We got out original cabin back!!!! I called the guest accessibility department and asked about getting our original cabin back. He verified that I had completed the required SRI form - I'd done that in August. After being on hold for a bit, he came back saying he'd move us back and noted not to move us again. The original cabin number is now showing on the navigator app. Phillip in guest accessibility is my hero!
  3. That would make sense except this is a wheel chair accessible cabin for two people. There is no sofa for a pull out bed or a pull down berth.
  4. I believe we both like the same cabin!
  5. We booked our preferred cabin (booked last May) and said we did not want any upgrades. We declined one upsell and then Holland America moved us to a different cabin! On paper it would be an upgrade but, due to my husbands mobility issues, it really isn't. My TA says he is working through Holland's process to try and get the original cabin back but no luck so far. The ship leaves on Sunday. Any suggestions?
  6. We disembarked from the Konigsdam on Saturday, 5/28. With the upgraded internet, we had no problem completing two eMed Binox Ag Card covid tests on Friday 5/27 while at sea. I printed the emailed lab results at the business center in the Crows Nest ; then uploaded to check in for our flight. Always good to have a hard copy. As to the timing of the test, here is what is on the CDC website: Required Testing Before boarding a flight to the United States, you are required to show a negative COVID-19 test result taken no more than 1 day before travel. There is also an option for people who have documented recovery from COVID-19 in the past 90 days. Learn more about these requirements. We did our testing at just over 24 hours from our expected flight take off. No problems with the timing. This isn't the first time we've use these tests, but the first time while at sea. I was very happy to have this done before getting to the airport. Hope your experiences go as smoothly!
