This picture is ancient history and has been used over and over to support a very formal suggested dress code by certain CC members.
My belief is that is was not posted by Princess but put there by some passenger to make it look like it is an official Princess policy.
It is just off a printer and not professionally printed which Princess usually does with most of
their announcements on their ships. They actually have a print shop on board and this work is not consistent with a professional print shop. It is anonymous too. Nice try though!
If I had a nickel for every time, I’ve seen that used up sign posted here, I could afford another cruise!
Just another example of the old guard, trying to make us believe that what once was has even the tiniest bit of relevance today.

The OP’s question had nothing to do with “responsibility or authority”. It was an operational question.
But feel free to interpret however you wish.
Enjoy your cruise.-

Also, just as on Azamara, shorts and ball caps are not welcome.
Sure they are. Well, perhaps not to those mired in the last century but today’s reality says otherwise.

Ask the casino cage manager. He/she is the final arbiter.

Seems like an appropriate place to insert:
Dress CODE = Dress SUGGESTION
Adhere or not.

Not possible but you can certainly join her in the larger MDR.
We always book CC (now Reserve) and until the hostess and other “door keepers” get to know those who have booked CC, they verify identity of every passenger who enters.
They have a small medallion screen at the podium and those who have paid for CC have a unique icon alongside their individual photos.-

Who is saying they don't keep the extra tips?
The clearly uninformed say so.
And they are really passionate about their unfortunate misdirection. 🤷🏼♂️-

The crew doesn’t have to worry about that..all cash tips are turned into the finance department onboard, and reported/accounted-for; then the entire fleets’ “tippable” crew, gets that cash evenly split amongst them, in their pay check.

No tip. It does not make sense to me to tip the person who brought the class of wine to my room without tipping the person who poured the glass. (Wouldn't tip anyway, since it is included). Also, if I am sitting in a lounge or bar I wouldn't tip the server who brought me a glass of wine. We just completed 30 days on the Discovery Princess on a B2B2B2B2B in 5 different cabins. We tipped each of our room stewards at the end of the respective cruises. We also tipped our MDR servers and head waiter and two servers we had formed a relationship with over the cruises. I felt the servers were more interested in getting a positive comment on the review.

So your resolution is to take something that didn't belong to you in the first place, and then lie about it when the person comes back from the pool and looks for their towel.
Got it.
Jesus would be proud.🙄

There nothing more classy than half eaten sandwiches left in the corridor
When I see a pile of dirty dishes in the hall outside a cabin, I’ll always push the dishes back directly in front of and up against the offender’s door.
Otherwise wheelchair access down the hallway is compromised.-

Would we be considered low-life and be possibly ejected from our seats if we went to Vines and ordered a glass of Mad Dog 20/20?
I’d happily buy a round for you.

Yeah yeah, 1st world problem, but I'd like to vent! 🙂
Non-Vines customers taking up the window seats in Vines for hours on end, sleeping etc basically camping out and stopping actual Vines customers from using the seats. GRRRRIt's not the Piazza people.
OK, bring the hate! 😁
See what you started!!!
