When and where can you redeem the Dinners? New to Platinum status.. Thanks
Platinum and above also get a free wine tasting and behind the scenes tour. Go to the cruise next desk the day you board to sign up for these.

1 - 11:30 is your check in time, not your boarding time. As mentioned before, just get in the Latitudes line, check in and then you can board when the Platinum or higher cruisers are called...usually 2nd after disabled.
2 - Never used the concierge services and wouldn't know where to find them (have heard the CN desk can help but not sure about that)
3 - BTS tour is back. Go to the CN desk on embarkation day asap as this does fill up. Make sure you have closed toe shoes or you can't go (found this out the hard way).
4 - You didn't mention which ship you are on but dinner reservations can be made either at a central location as soon as you board or at kiosks near the elevators. If you don't get the time you wanted at the venue you wanted, try early the day of, as there are cancellations.
Enjoy your cruise!
Do you also book the platinum wine tasting at Cruise Next?

@Colatech We will be in Puerto Plata in a couple of weeks (with RCCL) and are booking the TAINO BAY BEST OF PUERTO PLATA CITY TOUR which is detailed in the link below. This company also does the same tour from Amber Cove as well. They have a 5* rating on TA.

Can you provide feedback on this tour?

Has anyone done the Iguana Mama tour called Eat Drink and Be Merry? If so, would you recommend it? We’ll be in Amber Cove on April 19 th and considering it. Thank you.

Did you yourself have the regular drink package? If so, that’s why.

This thread is referencing the bar package, not the soda package. With the bar package, you can get alcoholic or nonalcoholic drinks. NCL limits the soda package to soda. Some other cruise lines offer a different package that includes Virgin drinks only. NCL does not.

My teens have the soda package for our upcoming trip. One of them just asked if they could get virgin mixed drinks. I thought I read somewhere that they could, but now I can't find it!
Need some ideas too, what is your favorite virgin drink? I love a Shirley Temple!
I know if anything I could get them a virgin drink, just wondering if they could handle on their own!
Thanks!
Unfortunately, the soda package only includes sodas and no Virgin beverages.

Has anyone taken a taxi to mountaintop lately, along with a beach stop recently? I’m debating a DIY excursion for this vs. an independent tour or cruise tour. Appreciate any insights. Will be there in April. Thank you.

I located a link on TripAdvisor: https://www.tripadvisor.com/AttractionProductReview-g147374-d12957821-St_Kitts_Shore_Excursion_Nevis_Beach_Getaway-St_Kitts_St_Kitts_and_Nevis.html
but there’s no availability on my date in April either.

We ended up doing the Dora tour and really enjoyed it. Dora was our guide and she was awesome. Definitely recommend her tour!

Thank you! We also booked her for our Feb 27th Radiance cruise. Were there opportunities to buy water, drinks, snacks? Trying to decide what to put in our backpack.
Vendors sold bottled water and Dora provided a bottle to everyone mid-trip. We also had some free time for shopping/exploring and we enjoyed some great iced coffee. I regret not purchasing coffee to bring home.

We’re just back from a NCL Panama Canal cruise & I wanted to put a plug in for their Luxury Day Sail excursion. I had read recommendations for it on this board and they were spot on. We were on a sailboat with about 14 people - all seated on cushions. We were served welcome Mimosas and our choice of other drinks. We had 3 margaritas and a great Mexican lunch served to us. We spotted multiple whales and had the best time. Highly recommended!!

Yes. A terrific tour. Big difference between being in a small group with an excellent guide and on a bus/walking around with 40 or so of your new best friends.
Not sure why you thought it might be the same or cheaper to take a small group private tour than a big group ship's tour, but smaller private tours are typically more expensive.
We have been to Cartagena twice, really enjoyed it. I hope you do too!
Thank you so much for your input! We will book with Dora.

I’m trying to decide between a NCL excursion or using Dora. I expected Dora’s pricing to be the same or less, but it’s more - $75/pp. We booked with the NCL cruise offer that gets us $50 off one person for every excursion.
For those that used Dora, was it a great tour and worth the extra $$?

I have the same situation on a 15 day Panama, it can’t hurt to ask
Yep, that’s what we’re doing too!

Thank you all for the confirmation. I’ll just have to book another cruise to enjoy the Platinum perks!

My husband & I will be taking a 15 night cruise in January which will bring us up to Platinum mid-cruise. I’m presuming we won’t be entitled to the Platinum benefits until our next cruise. Is that accurate?

No, my understanding is the events are specific to Platinum and Above, and do not include guests.
