  1. Anyone have photos of this cabin? Anyone know which side the bed is on and how is deck 10 for movement and/or noise? Thanks
  2. Thank you are you sure? Someone on the fb group told me my side is the smoking section? I really don't want to move if I don't have to...as I really don't want to get any higher up.
  3. Did you ever sail and find out which side it actually is on Odyssey? My room looks to be right above it (6246)
  4. Thank you are you sure? Someone on the fb group told me my side is the smoking section? I really don't want to move if I don't have to...as I really don't want to get any higher up.
  5. Okay goodbye to that then lol. Thanks so much. The only other options left are deck 10 or 13 mid ship. Was hoping for lower down for seasickness. Thank you for your help
  6. Hi everyone. I'm a newbie cruiser booked on Odyssey for 12 nights. And im a tad confused. I wanted to be low down to the water and chose cabin 6246 on the bump out, thinking this was a good option. (Cannot find any photos or videos of this room anywhere) Can anyone tell me if the deck 5 smoking section is below this? Or if there's one on the opposite side in the same cabin? Ship is almost sold out with deck 10 and 13 the only other rooms left and tbh I've no idea which to pick now. Help would be greatly appreciated. For 12 nights I just want a nice peaceful room, the extra bump out bit would have been nice too. Any help is appreciated!
  7. I'd probably do the Utopia b2b for less stress getting from ship to ship. We have Oasis B2B booked and it seems so much easier. Same room etc. Time of year though would sway my decision too.
  8. Thanks. It's not a weather forecast I'm wanting. I'm of course aware nobody could possibly predict two years in advance. Just experiences sailing on Oasis beginning of April. And if it would be atlantic or carribean sea we'd sail. Some people have probably done this type of sailing many times on here I'd imagine. I've had really helpful advice I needed so far on this thread though.
  9. The information you've given me is very helpful. I posted this in the oasis facebook group and some people got very rude asking did I want a time traveller to tell me the weather. Im not asking the weather forecast. Just anything on the route and the potential conditions if sailing the altantic at that time of year. This is exactly the info I wanted so thank you. I get travel sick too, so on one hand I'd kind of love a stormy sea day experience, but on the other hand no lol.
  10. Yes thats the one. We're doing a trip to Disney april 2024 and had to reschedule our 2024 cruise due to work commitments. So when the Oasis popped up for 2025 and I decided to move to that one to get on the ship. I realise it seems a long time in advance especially for people in the US. But it all gets expensive for a family of 4 coming from the UK to cruise and fly.
  11. Thank you. I guess I'm more wondering if there's a way to find out which way the ship goes
  12. Sailing on the Oasis and the itinerary order is (from ft lauderdale) 2 sea days, St kitts, St Maarten and St Thomas then Cococay last. For April 5th. I thought it was strange doing St Kitts first. I noticed RCL doesn't have the itinerary maps so is there any way to find out if we would sail through the Atlantic or through the actually Caribbean sea for this? Its our first time ever cruising, so I may be asking stupid questions but is there any chance that the sea could be rocky with this route ? I've no idea of the route etc. We've booked deck 12 so I'm wondering if motion sickness might be an issue? I realise nobody can predict the weather but any insight would be helpful from people who know their stuff. I naively assumed it would be smooth sailing in the Caribbean in April 😅
  13. Thanks this looks gorgeous I'll do my research for this
  14. Thanks. The rest of our days seem to be 5pm or 6pm so I guess that's why I thought it was tight(er) lol. Even so, I feel a lot better now I've realised I somehow made up the 1pm leaving time.
  15. Ohh I'm blind apparently. 🤦‍♀️I had to go recheck and the ship leaves St thomas at 3pm. Not 1pm. I swear I read 1pm. Still a bit tight but better than my imaginary time lol. Next stop is a sea day before Cococay for us.
  16. Thanks everyone for replying. Will need to make the most of it and figure out a fun day for us and the kids. I'll try a mudslide too Goldfish lol
  17. Thank you this is helpful. I'm quite disappointed by the stop now if I'm honest. First time in the Caribbean from Scotland and this was my favourite stop. Nobody to blame but me for not properly checking I guess
  18. So yes it's totally my fault for not checking properly before booking. But my cruise says docking in St thomas 7am-1pm Can anyone tell me if this means back on the ship for 1 or leaving? Seems super short? I was hoping to book Sunfari tours but it seems like that's a really tight time frame to really do anything. Is that enough time to explore? What time would you need to be on the ship for? Thanks for reading this ramble and for any help.
  19. Off topic a bit tbh but yes Disney does bother me. But I'm able to leave if i want or be in the open which is the difference for me. Its having the choice. Hopefully early May isn't as bad as peak spring break for 2024 with also an early Easter that year. I hire a villa to give myself a choice of leaving for calm if needed. Woulsnt ever stay on property. I'm able to get DAS, my partner will pick up the slack on certain rides, taking meds with me things like that. And I don't want my issues to stop my kids from experiencing something like disneyworld or cococay. Anyway thanks for the replies. Hope you enjoy your next cruise too.
