  1. Hey Brian, Are we on the same cruise? (We are on the Breakaway 6/25-7/4) We have the same itinerary, so I'll share with you where I am in my research so far. For Malta, we are doing the NCL beach transfer. We have a credit, so it's super affordable and I think we will need a break instead of the tours. For Messina, the kids really want to see Mt Etna, so we are looking at booking a Mt Etna and Taormina tour. I found 4 companies that all have great reviews on TripAdvisor Sicily Tours di C. Egitto Sicily with Sebastian Excursions Sicily Sicily Private Tours by Luca For the stop in Naples, we are looking at doing a food tour. Lots of options, just trying to decide. We have been at this port before and did a ship excursion b/c ours had been cancelled. It was Sorrento with pizza making and we didn't really enjoy it. For Florence, our first choice tour was sold out, so I am going to do research on that today. Let me what you've decided to do!
  2. I am looking at booking that food tour. How long of a walk was it to find the beginning of the tour? How long did it take to get there? THANKS!
  3. I am considering them as well. Their reviews are wonderful on Trip Advisor.
  4. I'm going in June on NCL with my hubby and 2 teen boys, 14 and 18. From my research and from asking them, so far here's where I'm leaning. Mykonos: My 14 yr old is obsessed with cats and has heard that especially Mykonos is a great place to see some. So, in that vain, I'm either looking to just walk around ourselves or get a local guide for a short walking tour, so we can stop and find the cats along the way. Santorini: I think I'm the one who wants to do a 4,5 or 6 hour tour to see all the beautiful sites. There are lots of private tour groups and I'm still deciding between them. We are going to request to NOT do the winery stuff since none of us drink and instead ask for a food stop. Olympia: My kids will both have enough with the ruins thing with Athens. So, I think we may try to get a private guide to visit the Archimedes Museum since they both love math instead of Ancient Olympia and then do the Olive Oil and honey tasting I've found that with my crew, anytime food can be involved, they are in a better mood overall. If you want more specifics on my research, feel free to ask. And we can discuss further.
