That is exactly what we’re doing. My family and I will be doing Vancouver before just so we are not tired after the cruise. We might stay 1 more night after the cruise. Yes, the crown is the only one that does this. This is my first time going to alaska so we want to just go and see the ports and which ones are our favorites. Next time we will probably do the one way and explore more of alaska. It seems like everyone that goes to alaska wants to do it again. I am super excited about glacier bay and sitka. Thank You.

It is a 10 night cruise round trip from vancouver. It stops at Juneau, Ketchikan, Skagway, Icy Strait Point, and Sitka as well as Glacier Bay. Any experience with the Crown Princess?

Thank you very much. The only bad thing is there are no rooms available for the days I wanted to go. I have a big family and I need all the rooms next to each other. But I will definitely do this one in future if we love alaska. I am doing the 10 night vancouver round trip that goes to 5 different stops plus glacier bay. But I would really like to do this one in the future. We did not book in advance so we couldn’t find rooms we liked. Do you recommend booking a year in advance?

No it’s on a princess cruise

It stays in the ports for about 9 hours each. It leaves glacier bay at 3pm. I think it stays there for 6 hours

This is my first time sailing to Alaska so I’m thinking maybe I should just do the round trip for right now and If i go back i’ll do a one way.

How long was your land portion? And which cruise company did you book the land tour with? Have you gone to sitka or icy strait point before?

I have looked at the lodges for holland and princess. I have read some reviews that there is nothing to eat near the area once in Denali. Do you have any experience with this?

Yes, both would do glacier bay.

Hi, I’ve been planning an alaska summer vacation but I don’t know which to choose. There is the 7 night northbound or southbound or I could do the 10 night round trip from vancouver. They are around the same price. If you have any experience with this please help me? I have never gone to Alaska. They all go to glacier bay.

The round trip is a 10 night from vancouver so it stops sitka, icy strait, ketchikan, juneau, and skagway. The 7 night one way just does Ketchikan, juneau, and skagway. Thank You. Right now we’re leaning more to the 10 night round trip.

Hello, I’m currently planning an Alaska summer trip but I don’t know if I should do a one way northbound or southbound or should I just do a round trip from Vancouver. Is Anchorage worth it?

Thank You. I know the crown princess is doing long trips from LA to Hawaii right now and I haven’t heard of anything mentioning engine troubles.

Hello. I’m thinking of planning an alaska cruise on the crown princess in Summer. Im a bit skeptical because I heard that there was engine trouble last summer and many people’s vacations were ruined. Does anybody know if they fixed this during the dry dock in October? I know they are doing cruises right now.
