no one really answered their question. The question is 'how do you cover yourself between the time your booked and paid the deposit and the time you PAID the full price and the insurance was actually purchased". This is a VERY good question. But.....I do acknowledge that you are able to cancel and get a full refund of your deposit, according to SS policies, and not make the final payment on the due date IF you are not fully able to travel. If you move ahead, I believe that only the cause that makes you NOT able to travel would impact your insurance going forward. This is a discussion I am very interested in, so if I got this incorrect, please let me know.
and.....why would Sapphire cover you if you were not able to travel the day you charged the cost to your card. I believe they also have pre existing condition exclusion. Please let me know if this is wrong.
