So I have the Plus package on Sky Princess in May. I’m confused as to the difference between casual and specialty dining? It says I get 2 casual dining meals, whereas Premier package gets unlimited casual dining and 2 specialty dining. This is my first trip with Princess so please excuse my ignorance. If someone could please clarify where I can use my casual dining options I’d appreciate it. I was hoping to go to Sabatinis and Crown bar and grill, but think they’re classed as specialty dining?

Thanks for the reply, those are some great pictures. That excursion is one that is on offer that starts way before our quoted port time. Just looking at that ski jump makes me 🤢🤮

Hi, yes I meant Sampler. The times are quoted the same throughout the Princess website and in the app. The ship time in Oslo is 1pm-10pm, with many of the excursions leaving between 8-9am, with no alternative time slots! To be honest I think I’m going to do my own thing there and book the Best Of Skagen tour in Denmark.

Hi All, I have booked the Scandinavian taster, leaving Southampton on May 19. The port time in Oslo is 1pm-10pm. Many of the excursions on offer leave early morning. Am I to assume these are intended for other cruises that get into port earlier? It’s odd that I can add them to the shopping basket, I guess they rely on the customer making the right choice?

I’m trying to plan my port days in advance as much as possible. Could someone out there that has done this cruise let me know what time you have to be back on board at each of the four ports of call? I’m especially hoping to do Briksdal Glacier and the Loen sky lift in Olden, but not sure if it’s possible to do both? Departing Saturday August 19 and it’s my first cruise.

Well considering this will be my first cruise I’m not off to a great start. Don’t think I’ll bother with P and O again and I haven’t boarded the ship yet!

I sent the following to P and O this morning and await their response: I was very disappointed to receive an email saying this cruise will not be going through Geirangerfjord nor subsequently going past the Seven Sisters. Could you please provide an explanation as to why this is? Furthermore, you need to update your website ASAP, as it is still advertising this as part of the cruise. I also think it's somewhat audacious to mention your own excursions in the email, as a way to still go through Geirangerfjord! Perhaps offering this as complimentary would be more appropriate?

I’ve also had this email for my cruise departing August 19. I wonder where one would stand on the cancellation policy if wishing to do so, surely it’s no longer the cruise we’ve been sold?
