So there was another ship spotting weekend in Gdynia, Poland, to see QUEEN VICTORIA again.

It was a great trip last year, and we are back with Cunard for October: QUEEN ELIZABETH, which is cheaper than EXPLORER OF THE SEAS.

Here we know what we're getting and always need some help with Royal Caribbean.

Unfortunately, returning to Germany, I have a less pleasant experience.

Has the world changed so that travel is also associated with unpleasant encounters?

I love the cruise because you feel less that the world has become so threatening. Somehow there is still a beautiful ideal world that I appreciate very much.

Back in Copenhagen and at the end of the blog.
I was amazed: away from standard only and no problems with special requirements in the Main Dining Room.
We could stay longer to catch a later train.
A last ride on the ferry to the city center.
A last Danish meal.
We were flying back from Billund to avoid expensive air tickets from Copenhagen.

I just returned from 14 nights on OOSTERDAM 2023 (Holland America).
I am very much surprised: Became MSC better and better and HAL worse and worse?
It was no more a competition of blue against yellow: it was now more like MSC against the rest of the (Cruise) World!
I was curious to see what a Junior Oceanview Cabin is - a big surprise - like our 8148.
