Cool Cruiser (2/20)

  1. Again Apple requires iOS app connections to be https. What Apt Transport Security does is enforce that the connection is https.
  2. Mobile apps are more secure than websites. Apple iOS apps and Google Android app use https by default. An app would have to be granted an exception to be approved in their mobile app stores. Very rare and not going to happen for banking apps.
  3. I think it is too dangerous too and certainly would not do it again. Lesson learned the hard way. On a map it did not look bad. I also did not have Cruise Critic then to ask if it was advisable. I agree a taxi is the best idea. The original poster seems to wish Celebrity to do the transfer. Never heard of them doing it but they can at ask guest services. They have plenty of time when they get off to get over there so they should not stress. I got to other ship around 10 and had to wait a long time probably an hour and a half to board. I don’t think they started boarding until 11:30.
  4. And fewer and smaller pubic areas. Less crew per passengers so less crew quarters.
  5. You will have to take your luggage through customs.
  6. I walked once. The problem was there was a lot of truck traffic.
  7. Hamilton and St. George have not banned ships. Small ships from Oceania and other cruise lines still call there. I have been to both since Zenith. It is size that matters. The new ships RCI builds are likely going to be too large to dock at Hamilton and St George.
  8. All you need to return to the US is an unexpired passport.
