We have sailed to Alaska once on Princess in a mini suite. Those who have traveled on the vista suite would like to have your input and expertise. Also being novice cruisers can you discuss pros and cons of the perks involved with vista suites and any recommendations. In C751 they advised there was a partial obstruction. Any one experience that suite and does it present a problem. Another cruiser recommended the vista suite as it our 48 wedding anniversary and would be special. Looking into it. Appreciate your insight.

We are considering cruising Alaska 17 days in May 2025 on the Grand Princess. Have concerns about recent reviews of the ship with numerous issues due to her age. They range from water leaking into cabins, toilets backing up, poor ship heating during Alaska cruises, furniture and bedding problems, average food ratings, etc. This will be our 48th anniversary trip and want it to be special as we reflect on the blessings we have had in our lives. I realize reviews can be subjective and that is why I am writing to inquire from those who have recently sailed on the Grand Princess with positive or negative feedback. Appreciate your time and input.

My wife and I are first time cruisers heading to Alaska in Sept. for 10 days on the MP. Would like to choose our cabin and wanted a deluxe or premium balcony but Princess advised they will assign the room so we are considering a mini suite and would like to have feedback about pros and cons on what are left to choose from. We are celebrating our 46 year anniversary and would like to be on the starboard side of the ship. Deck 8 E725 or E707 are above the casino. Any noise or smoking issues? Also Deck 8 R223. Any cabin obstructions on deck 8? Deck 15 M419, M231and M321. I know the food market and pool area is above. Much noise or other issues? Other cabins on Deck 12, A315, Deck 16 L221 and Deck 14 R321. We are also considering the Princess Premier package. Any recommendations on other considerations are also greatly appreciated.
