Norway Fjords 2025 itineraries

I have to visit family in Europe so I was thinking after visiting them hopping on a cruise somewhere would be a nice way to end the trip… and since the Fjords look questionable in the future I was thinking it would be good timing. -

Good question - I guess to sum it up I would say that I would put seeing the landscape, the waterfalls, all that the nature has to offer over seeing any specific towns. -

Good morning! I was hoping to sail the fjords before 2026 bans go into place. I have also read that some of the best fjords will be closing prior to 2026. From what I’ve heard, Geiranger sounds amazing. It is not on the 2025 itineraries at all. I am looking at the June 29 and the Jul 20 sailings and the only difference is one goes to Alesund and the other Skjolden. Is one more impressive than the other? Also, if there is anyone out there that has good knowledge about this whole 2026 shut down of ports, I would appreciate your advice. This would be a “one and done” trip for us… I don’t mind doing it 5+ years from now, if it looks like ships will be catching up to what the government requires of them environmentally - and more Fjords such as Geiranger would be back on itineraries. Does anyone have any foresight into this? thank you all so much for your knowledge, experience and advice!

Thanks for helping me so much think this through! I live rural so it’s hard for me to find a direct route to Tampa. I don’t have to drive as far for a flight to Orlando. the stops are Cozumel and costa Maya. I agree with you about Nassau - I look at that as staying on board probably. But if we get the drink package that will work to our benefit financially. Also 2 days at Coco Cay would be great and no extra expenses as well! I am getting way more weary as well about the travel between two ships. I don’t want to be stressed about making boarding call!

I have had serenade booked for a super long time already and then when Utopia came out with their itinerary I sporadically booked it as a saw I the dates align. I don’t mind eating one deposit but I’d like to steer clear of losing the both of them, if that makes sense! Utopia looks like it has so many things on it we could easily spend a week on it exploring I think!

Ok, picture it is your 20th wedding anniversary week celebration vacation. Would you rather… 1) Fly into Orlando and go over to Tampa for a 5 night sailing on Serenade to Mexico (with a corner aft JS 😍) followed by debarking and driving over to port Canaveral to embark on Utopia (ocean balcony room) on the same day for 3 nights weekend sailing OR 2) fly into Orlando and do a B2B (7 night total) on Utopia in an ocean balcony.. itinerary is Nassau and perfect day both times thanks for thoughts opinions and advice!!

Happy Sunday all, we have an upcoming 3 night on Freedom with an aft balcony on the 9th floor booked. This is our first time sailing Royal and originally I booked this balcony (all the way back in January) bc of the extra balcony space. The closer we get, the more afraid I am that the combo of the obstruction of the back of the ship/lack of privacy from above deck/motion from being in the aft, might take away from the weekend. For about $800 more I can book a midship JS (original cost was $1200 for this sailing) Am I over thinking it? DH said to do whatever makes me happy…. But I don’t want to be wasteful of money either. Any advice would be SO appreciated!!!! thanks in advance!!!

That’s what I’m afraid of… the perks of the suite are so enticing though! Ugh!! -

I called RCCL but they can’t change it since I booked with a TA… I need to wait until the morning now 🙃😬 -

@RFerrington we are sailing October 24 for this particular cruise… so it is still very far out for us. I just love putting fun things in my planner!! I hear you about going back and forth… if we end up not being able to get 1100, I will probably deal with some FOMO, but I will get over it… since the room we have is a big aft balcony directly below it. The reasons I am talking myself into it: the size of the bathroom, embarkation ease, coffee maker and finally, double points… I have 4 cruises lined up with RCCL and although we are just getting back into cruising, I would love to make my way up in C&A how much extra is it for you? For us it is an extra $766 for 5 nights
