Related to Venice hotels, has anyone used Blacklane to pick them up at Venice hotel and take them to the cruise terminal? The Blacklane website says they'll pick you up with water taxi at closest dock and then take you to a vehicle. Will their water taxi pick us up at our hotel's private dock? I booked my own flights, but they gave me 2 pre-departure Blacklane transfers.

We will be going on our first cruise ever next month and we had a couple of excursion questions. Can you waitlist for an excursion without canceling an existing excursion that's booked at the same time? We pre-booked our excursions, but we'd like to waitlist for a different one. I'd cancel the existing excursion one if the waitlisted excursion opened up, but I don't want to cancel the existing booking and potentially miss out on both if it fills up and the waitlist never clears. The website wouldn't let me waitlist with the existing booking. Are waitlisted excursions likely to open up or are they likely to add another excursion to accommodate more people if the current ones are fully booked? What do they do if the weather is terrible and it's an outdoor excursion like hiking or bicycling excursion? Do they cancel it?
