I was reading that Celebrity provide kettles in rooms for the Brits when ships are sailing from Southampton but then remove them again. I'm about to take my 80 year old mother on Beyond.... she drinks about 20 cups of tea a day.....and the water has to be nuclear hot! She'll be disappointed at the lack of tea facilities in the room. Would the cabin steward be able to find a kettle if they've got them stored onboard somewhere? Alternatively where's the best place to get cups of tea at any hour of the day....(like 5am!) or should I tell her to take her own teabags? 🙂

Hi... I'm looking at the Celebrity Edge 9 day cruise on May 27th ..... but flights back from Rome at the end are INSANELY expensive and don't really want the huge extra cost of transfers into Rome and an extra nights accommodation just to wait for more reasonable flight prices. Given there are no immigration/customs clearances needed is there any issue with leaving the boat the day before in Florence as flying back from Pisa would make much more sense. Is there a process to request this or would you just do it once onboard? Thanks!

Hi - thinking about booking a very last minute cruise on Celebrity Edge for next week or the week after as a surprise birthday present for my mum. Just wondering what the potential downsides to booking last minute will be? - Obviously less choice of cabins! - I'm assuming many of the best excursions will have sold out. - Is dining a problem or do you just make reservations onboard if you want to do the select option (we'll be in Aqua class so will have the Blu option but would be keen to try the others) - Is there anything else special onboard that can be booked in advance that we might miss out on (e.g. magic carpet dining?) Never travelled on Celebrity so not sure what the pitfalls to a late booking might be. Or am I just worrying unnecessarily. Thanks!

Hello I'm looking at booking a last-minute Celebrity Edge Med cruise for the last May bank holiday week but have just realised that this week is half-term school holiday. Will the ship be overrun with kids? Is Celebrity popular with families? I'm keen on avoid screaming kids as much as possible these days so wondering if I need to change my dates 🙂 Thanks!
