Hi, Paul, I have been loving your blog. Please excuse a silly question. Those wonderful pictures of the cheese plates have me in lust! Do they serve crackers with them? If we are unable to finish it all, can we ask to take them to our cabin for future reference?
-
Just ask your cabin steward for a sharps container. Leave it in the room when you leave.

I put the charger in my scooter basket and carry the basket on board and put it into the overhead bin.

Thank you all for the information. That is just what I needed to know. No celebrity suite for us on the Eclipse.
-
We were last in a celebrity suite on Infinity. Wonderful suite except that the tub sides were so high I had trouble getting in and out. I have seen pictures of tubs in some other cabins on Eclipse and it looks as if the tub sides are lower. Does anyone know if this is the case? Thank you for any help.

Thank you for the reply.I was going to order lobster in the grill, but now stick to steak. Poor me:D.

Can someone tell me if the lobster tail in the crown grill is Maine lobster or warm water lobster?
-
We were in a suite on the Ruby last summer. I was using a scooter, and we had breakfast in the Crown Grill every morning. They were very helpful and we had no problem getting a table. The food was wonderful.(y)

Thank you for your response. This is my first time traveling with my scooter. I have always rented one to be on the ship when I get on. Also, thank you to the many posts that have reassured me that I really can fly with one. (on an airplane of course) my scooter is wonderful, but it does not levitate.:D

I do not know about the shuttle. They are usually much more expensive than cabs and we are trying to make an 11:45 flight. Also I have some difficulty getting up bus steps. We were hoping to get a cab if there is room in one for my taken-apart scooter.

We will disembarking in Vancouver and need to get to the airport. I have difficulty walking and will have my collapsible scooter. Will there be any cabs at the port that will be large enough to take my scooter? Does anyone have any information about another mode of transport to get to the airport? Thank you for any suggestions.

We will be disembarking in Vancouver from ruby princess. I will be on a scooter. We will be going to the airport. Will there be any cabs available that can take my folded-up scooter? If not, any idea of how to get to the airport from the port? Thank you for any advice.

We are also booked for May 2. I believe we are in the same suite as you are in now (6104?). I am so glad you say it is a good cabin. Soooo, is the tub/shower as much of a challenge to get into and out of as I have read about on these boards?:o

Thank you, We had hoped that the option would be for a whole lobster!:D

There was a mention of this of this in an earlier post. How much was the price and what did it included?
-
We wil be able to go to Michals club for the first time this May, I will be using a scooter. Will I be able to drive it into the club? Or will I have to leave it ouside? This will be on the Infinity.
Thank you.

Me again...Perhaps more details: We are booked in a celebraty suite on the infinity.I know if you are in a R.S. or P.S. You can go to any of the speciality venues at no charge. What about us lowly C.S. people?
-
When we were on the Infinity two years ago, on port days, when Lumenae was closed for lunch, we were able to go to bistro on 5 with no charge. Will we be able to go to Sushi on 5 withour paying to cover charge? I would love to go there, but the prices are rather steep.
Thanks for any information

I have found a lot of good infomation on the disabled cruising section of these boards. You may want to check them out.

We are considering doing this cruise. Amazing prices...
The only thing that is keeping us from booking is the "joy" of going through Vancouver cruise port, the last time we left from there, I swore I would never do it again! The thought of coming and going from Vancouver makes me cringe!
-
Has anyone in a suite has these? How are they?
Can you let us know of some examples?
Thank you

Thank you all for the information. This is much what I expected was the case.
I will keep in mind the special cards for above and beyond service.

We have not cruised Princess for about 20 years. We are in a suite on the Ruby princess next month. We are looking forward to breakfast in the Crown grill, since we have read all the great reviews of the venue.
It seems that with all the attention you get there, we probably will want to tip the service staff extra.
How much do people tip? Should it be at each meal or at the end of the cruise?
Yes,of course, tipping is an individual choice, but help me out here and please give me some guidelines.
Thank you!

We have been to Alaska six times on several different lines. We always say"no more Alaska, we have been there too many times"
We are booked in May again on the Ruby Princess...It's a disease!
Alaska really is different than Washington (more jewery stores per inch)
We are hooked!
