My boarding time was 11:30, but nobody checked even once.

So, true. Nobody checked anything, got to the port at 10:30am, checkin done immediately, they. The ship was cleared for boarding 10:45, we didnt manage to even finish our drink in the terminal and our boarding group (41) was called. Were sipping drinks onboard at 11am. Check in was seamless and very efficient.

We are sailing off on Sunday so can let you know unless you are on the same cruise.

Hi everyone, Wanted to check with anyone recently starting cruise in Rome. How strict were they there with boarding time allocations vs. showing up?

We are booked on Odyssey of the Seas on the 2nd July. We kinda booked last minute and managed to score a good deal. I still think there was a glitch in the system as the Balcony cabin was quite a bit cheaper than Ocean View. Got RoyalUp email and did put in a few bids. Not much hope as the cruise seems to be filling up, and out of all the upgrades we bid for, only 1 Junior Suite looks available. But let's see, Fingers Crossed. We are happy with our assigned cabin, but would appreciate an earlier boarding time, that the upgrade would give us. As we booked last minute, only late boarding times were available. 🙄
