  1. Thanks for posting the menus. Makes me feel like I am still cruising. Would you believe I had to make my own food last night? I felt like a neanderthal.
  2. I discovered that Roku Live Tv has a channel of nothing but reruns of the Great British Bake Off. I watched all evening yesterday. So many "celebrity" bake offs, I haven't seen.
  3. I believe in the buffet, you get your own plate and fill it up. I don't remember any trays being available so I suppose piling it on is the simplest method.
  4. That may be the case. The average age on Cunard is probably 70 so the appetites are not as big. Another difference with Cunard is there are no large cakes that you get a slice from. Each is a serving, mostly in a ramekin.
  5. It has been a few years since I have cruised on Carnival. Those menus look pretty good.
  6. You're right, I couldn't even manage to tell if he had the emblem at the top or not.
  7. I feel that way about American versions of competitive baking shows but the GBBO is different. It is a very friendly competition and they will even help each other out. It is one of my favourite* shows. (* note British spelling)
  8. It has gotten quiet. Sounds like the slow jam is working.................you're welcome.
  9. How do the fellow CCers recognize you? I am going to guess it is by the mobile bar since it appears on so many pics.
  10. I learned to play bridge. (sort of) Is that British? I wouldn't mind pretending. Everyone was so friendly on the cruise.
  11. Oh, I remember why I didn't have all those things for breakfast. It is because I am not a Brit.
  12. That is an excellent question. I can tell you my wife didn't bat an eye at the direction my pineapple was facing. I may have to keep an eye on her.
  13. This may be the real reason for my unwavering breakfast fare. I LOVED the bacon. And when I say melon, I had several pieces of honeydew, watermelon, cantaloupe and pineapple every morning. My plate really only had room left for bacon.
  14. Perhaps it is just me but "devilled kidneys" sounds more like a prank than breakfast food.
